Nobody knows the Lion still sleeps tonight.
Nobody knows what Luther did.
Nobody knows what happened to the 2 missing primarchs.
Just saying secrets are still possible.
I understand where you are coming from but while no one has written fluff saying that people know I think it very obvious that there is a wider knowledge of those secrets than you think.
Take the last item you mention - the inquisition was founded in living memory of the 2 missing primarches existing, they would have kept that info
The Inquisition is not a singular entity though. There are Black Library publications focusing on Inquisitors investigating the Blood Angels and their successors. The stories make it clear that the Inquisition, at least as a whole, do NOT know about the Black Rage or Red Thirst. There may be specific individuals in the organization who have the knowledge, but it clearly isn't a note in the Blood Angels file back at
HQ.

So, we should just accept your answer because it was correct 5 editions ago, before the term Black Rage had ever been used?
no but perhaps you can accept that in a fictional universe that is as malleable as the whimsy of whatever writers are working at the time that things change and change back.
What does that matter? Red Thirst hasn't been the correct answer since 2nd edition, it has been 18 years since it was changed to the Black Rage.
