They aren't too bad to be honest.

If you want him to be effective, I've found 2 volkite serpenta to tag on a bucket of extra wounds through sheer volume of shooting.
Updates meaning plasma fails on a 1 and a 2 really limits the use of it, also stops the chain when the first one overheats.

Failing that, take one of each and fire the serpenta first, then follow up with plasma.




All in all though, destroyer squads can work well, but are fairly brittle and expensive in points.
So you need to set everything up before they hit the field or they will struggle.

I suspect destroyers might be nice for zone mortalis.

Don't own a dreadclaw and trying to keep 'em jump-packy to be more blood angels fluffy and to have them keep up with my assault marines :/

I kind of like that idea, but also as a blood angel player, I think the twinfernos are more effective. 20+ S8 AP1 Melta hits =
