Tau, Eldar, and Space Marines all need to be increased in points, and like 50% of the space marine formations eliminated.

Half of the issues arise from BS in those three sets of books.

I pay enough for my easy to kill elf Infantry thanks.

Not enough. Because Imperial heavy weapons are garbage and can't throw enough hurt down the table.

You don't even need a heavy weapon. Besides the heavy weapons you do have outright slaughter my units. How is it you can complain a Tactical Marine is overpriced at 14ppm but when my units are both easier to kill and cost between 13 and 30ppm they're underpriced.

It's all a meta thing. No one brings heavy bolters because heavy bolters can't effectively kill tanks or MCs. They only kill 4+ infantry well.

Lists that aren't gladius minimize bolters because bolters are largely worthless in 7th ed.

CSM by far. For no other reasoning than suffering from an identity crisis. Other codices could use an update too, especially nids need, at the very least, a compilation of all their units. They're spread out more than csm, at least we get all of our units in different books, rather than some white dwarf entry and we have the excuse of being mixed FW and GW.

But yea, CSM need a complete revamp, the other factions don't require as much work as csm. Though they might need rebalancing and perhaps some new units, they at least have unique mechanics to them. Even sisters. Whereas CSM are for the most part just really bland Space Marines, and this is in addition to being horribly balanced.

By that logic nobody takes elf infantry either so they should get buffed.

I'm not really asking for buffs. I have accepted that bolter weapons of all stripes are now useless. Evidently, marines riding wolves are the real super weapon.

Buffs seem like your solution to everything to be honest.

Awful lot of things get nerfed. I think GW are just bad at rules rather than thinking they have an overall goal.

Much as I love to complain about orks, the answer by far and away is CSM. Even sisters got a e-codex not so long ago. The age of CSM is getting a bit ridiculous at this point.

Adeptus Sororitas, Chaos Space Marines, Tyranids. In that order.

Sisters are the most deserving if a true codex. The only catch is that this must come with a model line update.

Chaos Space Marines need it more, if the previous doesn't happen. They have the oldest.

Tyranids need one just because all the extra stuff released after the codex came out, and because our army no longer functions in any sense.

"There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

Why not all of them at once?

get them all on the same play field by updating them all at the same time.

I am totally aware that that would never happen... but one can dream right?

Just looking at my old copy of Chapter Approved: Book of the Astronomican

112 pages, full of great fluff, a full narrative campaign and army lists for the the models/ armies they had:

Space Marines
Imperial Army
Rogue Trader
Pirates
Orks
Eldar
+ pages of Special Characters

Quite sobering when you look at what passses for Codexes these days :(

Well my list, from first to last, goes like this:
1) Chaos Marines (And a proper update, not a 'the fluff says they always lose so... update)
2) Imperial Guard (And not a 'well the fluff and Timmy Marine Players say they are not as good as Space Marines so should auto lose to them update, a proper update that balances the codex both internally and externally)
3) Sisters of Battle (Sure, they are not too hard done too, but they could do with the figures update)
4) Orks
5) Tyranids (They still have Nidzilla and Flyrant spam so they are not that badly off)

I agree with this (well, not the part where you insulted Marine players, but I do agree with the order of updating the books)

IG have options. MoO just chooses not to use them. Not top tier, but better than Orks and the like for sure. IG currently don't autolose to marines, despite what he says.

On moon miranda.

At this point the game needs a fundamental total reboot, 7E really is beyond saving at this point and simple codex updates aren't going to change that. There's too much garbage, too much stuff in general trying to do too many things that the rulset is just very poor at handling in the first place.

Even though im a devout follower of the dark gods, one is in dire need of love, the other almost unplayable and the final one just lacking flavour.

I'm absolutely behind this.

Sisters need a physical codex with formations, and new plastic models.

Orks need Ork Klan rulez (like space marine chapter tactics), better formations, and at least a wargear option for 3+ save. It wouldn't hurt if elite units had BS3 either.

Chaos Space Marines should be split into chapters and Daemonkin. There is too much going on in Chaos to be contained to a single book. They've already begun this with the various CSM chapter books and Khorne Daemonkin. They should follow through with it. That way each God and Chapter will have it's own flavor and can ally for combined forces.
