Essentially there's 9 - at least, that's how many I bought! Along with loads of manufactorum kit bits (at least 4 full sets but a load Spares nabbed off e-bay).

Anyhow, now primary construction is over (a few small bits of detailing still to finish) I've started the labourious painting phase...

Some progress on spur building no.1... The walls are easy, if tedious, it's the detailing that takes a looooooooong time to re-undercoat :-/

Also having to re-familiarise myself with painting green floor tiles on this scale, as it requires a slightly different technique to the COD floor tiles (see my Cathedral blog for more details)

(NB - walls will need a lot of 'dirtying up'/weathering before they're finally finished, but I'll do that once everything's glued together!)

Very cool conversion work on that tower.

floor tiles, metal grates, the details coming together looks good!

I showed this to the wife and her first reacion was rather unimpressed. Then when I said, "it's a great marble effect isn't it?" she was like, "oh that's painted!? Wow I thought it was something on a marble floor."

So yeah you're doing something right!

Wow! What a project, I absolutely adore this, it's making me want to take out a loan and buy all the bastions and manufactorums and basilica imperialis I can get my grubby little hands on. I can only imagine how much fun it would be playing Kill Team games on boards like these.

Your pain job so far is just sublime too. It would have been easy to go down the grimey route but the landing pad just looks so sumptuous and palatial so far.

I can't wait to see what becomes of the rest of the board.

Wow! attention to detail level is phenomenal! also really like the white/off white colour, looks really striking paired with that green.
How do you achieve that really nice green blending? do you use a wet palette? looks great.

RIP Colour Sgt Kell. Forever in our hearts.
