That paint work and colour scheme are stunning sir, this has always been a brilliant project, but this is shaping up to be truly stunning.

That green material is absolutely beautiful. Excellent work. How do you do your brass/bronze?

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Apologies for the late response Verviedi - my recipe is as follows:

Undercoat black
Base coat Warpstone Bronze
Wash Agrax Earthshade
Dry brush Hashut Copper
Wash Nuln Oil
Dry brush (edges) Sycorax Bronze
Pick out details/rivers Sycorax Bronze

Time consuming but gives a good result (imho)

Anyhow, I've finally completed the first of the two Lascannon turrets

Getting the tiny little green eyes on the skulls was fun!

Stunning work, such great paintwork. Loving the skull in a grey tone, looks awesome. Usually people go cream, or gold, this is looking perfect.

Cheers Camkierhi - it's basically just Rakarth Flesh with Agrax Earthshade and Nuln oil washes/blends, and a little big of Palid Wych flesh highlights - the same colours as the white bits but just applied differently. Keeps the whole scheme nicely tied in.

The fun bit was getting the 'eyes' right - they really are quite small to get 3 different shades of green on!

Amazing work on this project! The modeling is really well done.

For what game(s) will you be using this?

How much of the interior are you detailing?

Thanks schoon. I'm not a gamer, so this is (in theory) a display board, allegedly an AoP one, but that would involve a) finishing it and b) paining an army - based on the fact that it takes me so long to do anything neither is probably very likely (at least in the next few years at any rate!). As for interiors, only the two corridors leading from the main building to the spurs will be finished - essentially, if you can see it (or into it) it'll be finished.

Latest bit (nearly) finished (well, exterior - still need to do the interior!):
