They're generally fans of each other in the lore.

The Sororitas generally guard Ecclesiarchy property/personnel and pilgrimage routes, but when a war breaks out and they happen to be there, they reinforce the Imperial Guard and help hold the line.

Imperial Guard are very familiar with Sororitas and they're often a very welcome sight, due to the Imperium's rigid enforcement of its state religion.

An Imperial Guard tabletop army with a smaller points value of Sororitas allies would be pretty damned fluffy.

Cool, but, why were they fighting the Guard in DoW Soulstorm?

IIRC, The Kaurava system had been enveloped in a Warp storm. The Sisters of Battle believed therefore believed everything in the system to have been corrupted by Chaos, including the Imperial Guard and Space Marines. Therefore they set out to purge everything. The Sisters of Battle frequently get into conflict with other Imperial factions due to their very dogmatic puritanical religious views. They are very quickly to label people as heretics, and heretics they purge without any mercy.
Overall, civil wars between Imperial factions are very common. The Imperium is not a unified whole, it is divided in many competing feudal domains, institutions and factions that frequently hate each other but are forced to grudgingly work together in order to survive. Nonetheless it is common for tensions to boil over and for Imperial officials and institutions to get into conflict with other. The Imperium is oftentimes its own worst enemy.
