I think you were given some wrong points there. Guard are 80 for 10 not 60. The BSB is a Freeguild General with "Stately War Banner" upgrade and is 100 points.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Ahh, thanks for the info. That'll put the list to 730 then.

Alliances also have lots of choices - Order has everything from cheap but bland Freeguild Guard to expensive but powerful Judicators (especially depending on your Allegiance). Even if you are sticking to one army within an alliance, some have multiple options to choose from.
Yea, those playing at the Alliance level have plenty of cheap options if you're set on seeing your battleline troops as a tax. I've seen Chaos lists including 10 Marauders for IIRC 60 points, alongside the one big battleline unit they're actually interested in. I'm definitely a subfaction player tho, so I typically have just one, maaaaybe two choices that I have to spam 2-3 times ... which is cooler in some subfactions than others.

Chaos has bloodreavers. The shop manager is putting 80 blood reavers down on the table with the right heros and he is running through people getting 4 attacks from each buffed blood reaver.

Bloodbound are actually a really interesting army for this sort of thing. Most of their units aren't that good at a glance, but holy crap can you pile on the buffs like nobody's business.

Bloodbound are definitely the combo army, but they do require several key units to be alive. If you take out the Heroes, they can quickly cripple. However, the problem with that is all the Heroes are probably mobbed by hordes of Bloodreavers and Blood Warriors.

Basically all the armies have a Hero that buffs other units, but they do not have as strong combos as Bloodbound.

That 80 man Bloodreaver squad sounds nasty. Need to see it

I like your skeleton list. If you give the Wight king the infernal standard they become even harder to kill. At 100 points here is what I use:
Warherd allegiance
Doombull
3 x3 man bullgor units with great weapons, drummer, and standard bearer
Ghorgon
Bullgor Stampede Battalion

That is 1000 on the dot and it rips stuff up.

My Armies:
Orks about 15000-16000 mostly unpainted but slowly being worked on
Militarum Tempestus about 2000 points just built
Inquisition about 2000 points unpainted
Officio Assassinorum 570 unpainted
I dont paint quickly
