Just for the record, Mephiston had S and T6, 5 wounds and Initiative and WS 7 during 5th edition and only recently got dialed back to *just* S and T5. And unlike Typhus all I can find about how he got such a ridiculous profile was cuz he had willpower or something (Cassius I can at least understand since he's 80% metal now).

Mephistion has weird holdover stats from 2nd ed herohammer.
He was T5 in 3rd anyway. Supposedly he overcame the genetic curse/psychic torment that is the black rage (though he's still subject to red thirst?) and emerged stronger for it.

Super psychic vampire Astartes notwithstanding, I'd argue against t6 for him too.

Nurgle, the god of stasis and stagnation is the patron saint of 40k lore-writing, and GW's business methods. Both of those are Eternal, why not Typhus?

Thing is in 3rd edition he was only T5, everything else was fairly normal. Even the 4th edition Pamphlet Dex just gave him 1 point of a strength increase. 5th is when he went full-blown Daemon Prince on us (quite literally, he lost the Independent Character rule and his statline is only WS and I3 points under that of the current KoS, but with a 2+ armor save!). By comparison Typhus with Eternal Warrior would be downright tame for the sake of fluff.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
