Florida.
You can find yourself a small town, or even an isolated place in the country, peaceful and serene.
And if your ever in the mood for something really bizarre, you're never that far away.

4 years ago, I moved from Oklahoma City to Denver for a complete restart, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Never even thought about looking back. My parents and brothers bailed out of Oklahoma shortly thereafter.
I honestly can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.
If I'm being honest, though, I do sometimes miss a couple of the restaurants there. Then again, an F5 tornado rolled through my neighborhood the year after I left, so I don't miss those so much.

I haven't taken the plunge... but, I visit the Denver area at least 3x a year.
It truly is a neat town.

I'm kind of running out of areas to have a fresh start in given how much I moved around
About the only places I haven't lived/worked in that I want to visit is the northwest. I've visited Montana and Idaho and want to go back, plus I never got to go to Washington and Oregon. Alaska would be fun for a summer but after Minnesota and Colorado I'm sick of snow Automatically Appended Next Post: If I really wanted a fresh start though, it'd probably be Germany. I've always wanted to go there and from the way my dad describes it/everything I've read I would love it

I am pretty spoiled living in Florida, but I love visiting places like Utah, South Dakota, Arizona, and Montana. I am not sure I could deal with the long winters (I used to live in Buffalo, NY so I am familiar with them), but man do I love those wild outdoors with fewer people around.
I am interested in New Zealand too. I have never been, but drove around as much as I could on Google Street view one day. Looks like a beautiful country.
But I am over living in big cities.

Funny how many are places inside your own country. For me fresh start would be foreign country if I were to do. More interesting and I'm not expecting staying in same city all my life anyway.
Guess one difference between big and small country. Guess in America moving to different state might feel more like moving to different country In here the multiple moves to different city I have done has never really felt "start over".

It's probably a little tricky now, as rent is through the roof, as are home prices, and it's definitely tricky to get jobs to boot. I was lucky enough to get in right before the pot boom. But I really like it here, even if some things are getting a bit crowded.

If I lost everything or had to flee somewhere. I would probably go to either Siberia and drive logging trucks or maybe go to Mexico and work for a cartel as a hired Gun.
Now if I am taking my family with me? Switzerland, where every household is REQUIRED to keep and train on an issued rifle for home/homeland defense.

I think you would be surprised how different America is, as well as the people in the different regions. I find when I go to Utah and experience how genuinely nice the people are there I am embarrassed how rude we can be in Florida. There are differences in people from Savannah compared to San Francisco or New Jersey.
One of the greatest things about America is the geography. We simply live in an absolutely beautiful country that has just about everything.

Apart from that being good way to stay out of that country you might want to check your facts. Hardly required when you need permission to own one and not even third of households(too high anyway) has firearm...Kinda odd if everybody is required.

Well you are right, not everyone is required but anyone in the militia stores their weapon at home. It's hard to find numbers but looks like at least 30% of households have firearms. Not sure what your first point is. I am guess a language barrier due to the flag on your profile.

As a guy who has driven across the country multiple times, moving even a few states over feels like a new country. Every state has a unique culture, climate, terrain, foods, and even accent.
Heck, driving from Kentucky to South Dakota for example is an 18hr straight drive. To drive from central Kentucky to Flagstaff Arizona was a 26 hour drive. To give you an idea, when I made that drive, it was equivalent to if I had driven from Berlin Germany to Moscow Russia. This country is way bigger than a person can ever realize until you drive it. It's pretty fascinating that way

People here talk about moving to Oz, but in the 3 weeks I spent there in '98, there was nothing to make we want to live there. No history, but native Ozes have a fair bit.

Been daydreaming about this area quite a bit. My employer has an office in Bothell. There's no job open now, and that would be a move clear across the country for me, but it's a nice idea.
Everyone Ive asked says Washington State is beautiful natirally, nice people, no brutal summers. No state income tax is certainly attractive.

When moving to Canada remeber
1: it is your fault say sorry and then explain why they are wrong.
2: get ready for usa to insult you for everything.
3: hold doors, take your turn and smile.
4: eh is used to make a sentence a question.
That is a good bridge eh? Or non canadian that is a noce bridge right?
5: just because you can win at something doesnt mean you should, males second place feel bad.... Unless it is hockey then feth em.
6: the most important one of all. Do not say why where you where from is better and what should be fixed when you fled to get away from it lol.
7: saying aboot instead of about to insult people will get you a kick in the arse.
