Looks too futuristic to me. I think this is a 40k release.

Were it not for the dwarven face on it, I'd agree. Some of the dwarf stuff is pretty hi tech looking though.

Doesn't look like a Dwarf emblem at all to me. But I could be wrong. Time will tell.

Let's all just celebrate the fact this is an OFFICIAL teaser from GAMES WORKSHOP!

Take a look at the Gyro https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Gyrocopter

Not the same, but I can see the similarities.

Looks like it's going to be a pretty sweet Warjack for Mercs.

Heh If the new Dwarves do have a steampunk theme, with Priveteer doing so well with Warmachine its gonna be interesting to see what GW do with it. Unfortunately if there is even one bipedal, steam powered mech in the range, some people are going to be crying Warmachine rip off no matter what it looks like.

As a Warmachine player, if they do make them look kinda Rhulic (Warmachine Dwarf) I may have found a new army I never liked the GW dwarf aesthetics in Fantasy so if these look different might be all up on it.

GW have the option to avoid that. I mean, usually dwarven machines are powered by ethanol so... Boozehead Duardin™ ?

Have SOB been confirmed as January yet [ie by Atia/Panda]? I'm liking how the community team are doing things- these leaks are great..

No, not yet. Thousand Sons in December (preorder 26th of Nov) was rumored by reliable sources. And Sad Panda hinted at a loyal Primarch (not Russ) to follow but not neccessarily in January 2017.

Cheers. Thought not.. interesting.. looks like Duardin might come first..

Just realised they said "photography is not our strong suit.." as the tag line- Duardin armoured suit/golem then [like the Golden Army]?

So I think this seals it. They shared the pic on all thier Facebook pages and there has been just one official reply.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was initially posted through the Warhammer 40,000 facebook account then reposted through The Age of Sigmar account. It would seem to me that it might be a 40k release unless they are trying to be extra sneaky.

They say you can go to either FB page to speculate in the Warhammer Community post. It could be either.

Dual-game kits. Like Daemons?

Unlikely, but it would be very cool.

They are just trying to be obscure. They chose a photo that looks like it could belong in either game in order to encourage wild speculation. It is definitely Duaridin. I am not a betting man but I would put money on this.

So this is the first semi-troll, new Warhammer Community rumour/sneak peak.

As already noted by many, the picture has a dwarven symbol on the bottom right corner. As December is Magnus/Thousand Sons and we have no rumours after that, I would guess Duardin (and not Arcanites) will be next. 2017 seems anyway like a sure bet.

We do have a rumour about sob being released januari/februari 2017

My guess is the sons in December, Sisters in January and Duaridin in February ( maybe in a death masque style box set with the Tzeentch Arcanites). The realm of metal will be the focus of the next campaign.

Also the early rumours said they confused the Duradin sightings with what they thought was a 40k release and that picture looks very 40k with the grill and all but its gotta be Steamhead.

There is an army on parade in the latest WD which is a Realm of Azyr board and its so awesome, with all the different races under the same colour scheme. Very inspiring, just put Heldenhammer on the new hero base which looks saweeeeeet.

I keep thinking the Steamhead will look a lot like the Dwemer from Elder Scrolls and either way they'll definitely find a place in the Azyr collaborative.

"Duardin" is the new, trademark-able, name for GW dwarves.
"Steamhead" is one of the three major factions of Duardin.
