Very nice stuff! The inside of the chimera is amazing.

Getting there. All the base painting and weathering is done. I now need to paint the stowage and accessories and then add various mud splashes

Yeah really nice work on those Chimeras buddy. In what manner are you going to paint the glass sections of the cupolas and driver viewing ports? Red/blue/green lenses? Might I suggest you paint them in a black lens effect to simulate see-through glass (my preferred method)?

I think i'm just going to do the driver viewing port. I was going to use Vallejo Black Green with a touch of satin varnish i think

Finally the Chimera's are finished! I dread to think how long the Leman Russ squadron is going to take!

I've tried to make each vehicle distinctive in some way - so one is battledamaged, one is equipped with stowage etc. On my blog i've posted many more pics and a little background fluff on the unit and the individual vehicles - the link is here http://goatmajor.org.uk/projects/legion-du-mortun-chimera-apcs/

So some bits and pieces of progress over the weekend. First base coat on the Leman Russ squadron. Assembled some some stowage for tanks, modified a Commissar to be more "French" and a bit of DKK inspired scenery - a mechanic mole thingy from Ramshackle Games - still WIP

I wasn't too sure about the camo scheme till after the weathering, but boy does it look good! Congrats on a well thought out colour shceme and on the neat painting!

My favourite part of this blog is all the effort you put into each tank to make it individual and stand out. the stowage etc. is fantastic!

Similar but different! I want the LR to look different within the same theme - I'm assuming the paint is standard issue but individual units apply their own take on the camo style. I m thinking of trying to emulate this scheme I saw in Mig Weathering magazine.
