Is there a time where an Avatar of Khaine is not getting beaten up by some daemon, space marine or grot?

It does okay in Valedor. Solos a Tyranid Swarm for a while then the Eldar come back to finish the job. Not a good representation but better than some.

What happened was the Avatar was seemingly swarmed by Tyranids and thought lost. Later, in what seems like a subversion of the Avatar dying trope, the Eldar find it still going, under a mountain of dead Tyranids.

To be honest, I kind of disliked this Avatar tidbit because I think GW tried a bit too hard to swing it the other way. I think if an Avatar tries to solo the vast numbers of a Tyranid swarm, it should be swarmed under, though after giving a good account of itself. I'd rather GW give a consistent good level of performance to the Avatar instead of example after example of the Avatar failing miserably only to then include a couple examples of over the top Avatar performance.

So back to this new 13th black crusade, do we have anymore information on the forces( in detail would be nice) involved, as in what chapters, orders, regiments, AdMec, imperial side or Legion's, Warband's, chaos guard, mutant hordes , DarkMec that are fighting this time and what local star systems are to be the area of the campaign???

I suppose one could suggest that different Avatar's could have different power levels? More or less of Khaine went into them sort of thing?

Also the Avatar In Shadow Point is portrayed favourably.

Very little at this point other than that it's in Cadia, something's possibly going to happen that involves Imperial forces moving in the Webway, the Templars, Sisters and Ordo Hereticus will be involved as well as Belisarius Cawl and an as-of-yet unknown Dark Eldar character who has been theorised to be potentially anyone from someone entirely new to Duke Sythrac to Ahra himself is in the background while the Templars take a selfie.

The only suggestion we have of Avatars being at different power levels is FW's Phoenix Court of Khaine formation. Basically instead of an Aspect Warrior soul being used to awaken the Avatar, each of the major Phoenix Lords sacrifices an Exarch soul and this powers up the Avatar. Obviously given the requirement to have all the major Phoenix Lords assembled in one location at the same time, this makes the Phoenix Court rare.
