A Reclamation Legion + Destroyer Cult only costs 949 points.
Hell, you could even add a Canoptek Harvest as well and it would still be under 1250 points (1179, to be precise).

i know but ith just 1. i dont need 2 hqs in a low point game and many of the units i would get in the formations i just dont like (like scarabs)

Not the right question.
Lynchguard are not competitive, while Praetorians can. I'd consider Wraiths and nothing else.

so my conclusion
lychguards are played either defensively or in a deathstar

praetorians are played pretty offensive with a high risk high reward

because I'm a pretty aggressive player im probably gonna go with paeties

but thanks for everyone who helped me with that conclusion

Do we need to break out blood of kittens again, because the top lists are not with you on this point. Lychstars are a very common in competitive Necron lists, essentially functioning as budget deathstars. For just over 300 points you can have something that will ruin a super friends day, you won't kill them but you can tie them up for turns.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

Even though I like Prets, I'd argue the opposite. There's been numerous lists that have done well with Lychguard, while Prets only the legendary Jon Camacho with his Living Tomb/Deathmarks list has managed to bring to the top tables in GT's.

Also, I'd like to propose the possibility to move outside of Decurion for 1250 to the OP. As I said to you in the Army List section as well, at 1250 aggression would not come with a Decurion. You'd spend too much on Reclamation Legion to come off with enough "killy" toys that you like. CAD is just as fine.

yes that's exactly what i thought too
but for saying only one made it into the gt with peats isnt that important for me
I'm still a new warhammer casual player who just plays very aggressive in every game and I love the stuff that crushes hopes and dreams (like necrons ) and I think that preats are the right choice for me because you can play them so aggressive

Rod Praetorians BY FAR
They're the Ultimate TEQ/10 Man Squad DESTROYER!

I usually run a squad of 10 deepstriking with a Veil of Darkness Cryptek with Chronometron (T5 3+/5++/4+++ is pretty Nasty)
The only thing i have to worry about is AV12 Walkers

I run a unit of Lychguard with sword and board with orikan, vanguard obyron, and a overlord. Give the overlord the solar staff if you have the points and use vanguards mantel to teleport the whole unit into the enemies back field.

Pop the solar staff on the enemies turn so they can only fire snap shots into the unit until they can charge. In a decurion they will have a 3+ invulnerable save rerolling 1s and a 4+ reanimation rerolling 1s. It took my opponent over 300 melee attacks for me to loose a single lychguard in the first game I tested this on.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Uhhh, if you're expecting Necrons to "crush" anything, you may be in for a disappointment.
(they're hard to kill, but not particularly killy)

Also,
Yes, Lychguard in the above Deathstar configuration are hard to kill... but any intelligent player will know to either A) avoid that unit, or B) throw some chaff at it to tie the thing up and prevent it from getting into combat with what it really wants to be.
Either way, that will result in wasted points for you.

no no what I meant is I like that they are hard to kill. I like to play the annoying stuff in games you know, and for me necrons are the most frustrating and annoying units to play against form my experience
