Militarum Tempestus list: 22 drops including 11 grav chute deployments

Grey Knights list: 4 drops including 2 teleport strike deployments.

Rather amusing set of extremes all told.

Okay, I have to ask - what are your 4 GK deployments?

Yeah, when i read the small novel that is the Death Guard unit options and think about resolving the attacks from a melee-oriented min size death guard squad, the thing that springs to mind is "Accessible!"

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Please report to your nearest GW store for attitude readjustment. Take your wallet.

4 in my 2k Grey Knights list. It'll probably drop to 3 when my new Dreadnought arrives, and maybe two a bit later

10 in my current Armies of the Imperium(Space Marines,Assassins & Custodes) list. That is with judicious use of Transports to minimise my drops. Wouldn't want to go much higher than that in 2000 points as thats my guesstimate as to the break even point between MSU vs Alpha Strike potential in that level of play.

How are people running 28 drops? That's 56 MSU since half of your units have to be deployed...

Or it's just 28 units... IG armies tend to have a lot of units.

Daemon characters. Each character is 70-90 points. I run roughly 20 of them.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

Drops just means # of units deployed, not # of units deepstriking.

Stormraven loaded with terminators, brotherhood champion, and dreadnought
5 man strike squad in deepstrike

The Boy and I just both wrote up 2k points, 6 drop marine lists.

Kinda funny, as we’ve both got 14 units (was worried about keeping half on the table to start myself)

If the opponent has lots of drops I may place the Farseer outside to start as a 7th Drop
