GK wanted to kill honerable allies.
SW being very honour bound from their viking inspiered roots saw that as cowardly (nidning).
I would say
GK come up pretty high on the duchbag list. Any cold war with them is a good cold war.
actually they kill anyone who might have been corrupted by exposure to chaos, and prefer to be safe rather then sorry.
Here's the thing, (andf this
BTW to my mind is a perfect example on what makes
40k so delightfully grimdark) the Grey Knights where proably RIGHT. in "The Emperor's gift" we see shell shocked soldiers drawing symbols of chaos etc. those guardsmen returned to a number of other worlds, where they could well have spread the taint of chaos (even just word that a PRIMARCH had turned on the emperor was proably eneugh to do a lotta damage in and of itself) the Inqusition wanted to end that here and there, the space wolves by fighting likely saw this taint spread. How many future rebellions did the Space Wolves accidently sow with their actions? we will never know. that's the thing, BOTH parties where right, from their own points of view.
