There's a Captain kit that's very good, for Space Marines.

Or at least, there was... I checked the GW site and it's not there, far as I can tell.

For Space Marines:
Another kind of Primaris Hellblaster squad - super-lascannons, super-heavy bolters, or something like that.
Another Primaris transport - a cheaper 5/6 man variant of the Repulsor?
A multipart, more poseable Primaris Captain (and the rules to match).

Nothing, because GW hasn't given us any new kits, and probably won't, even though we desperately need some new HQs.

I think it's the Commander kit - easily the pinnacle of HQ design. Most weapon options available, a variety of heads, easily convertible with other kits, and not restrictive in posing or design.

I only wish the Primaris kit could be as flexible.

I'll second/third the Eldar Aspect Warrior dual kits.

For DE, I suppose characters would be the best to ask for. Plastic Incubi maybe? Dunno, they have an okay selection of kits.

Blood Angels? Just keep them in production, the old marine range is pretty extensive. If anything is going to get a new kit that's not Primaris, I'd hope it would be some special characters. Mephiston and Corbulo would be my top requests in plastic.

Chaos could do with a new Abbadon, a Havoc kit like the Devastator box, and maybe Chosen or Possessed (maybe a dual kit?).

Honestly? I prefer mono pose for characters. It allows the pose to be much more dynamic and interesting, and I'm likely only including one of these in my army anyway so it doesn't bother me.

Infantry though, all multi pose please!

AOS has you covered. You get some nice extra elves as a base for customs (Banshees or psykers might be a good idea), a Medusa and a Cauldron Of Blood. Even disregarding the Cauldron, buying the kit got me a nice big Avatar, and models I was able to convert into one each of the Court Of The Archon units for my Exodite DE. Of course, post-FAQ I now really need to get some more Craftworld units to fill out a detachment.

AdMech...
1. A transport that doubles as a gun platform (like the Repulsor Grav Tank)
2. Another HQ (something that allows wounds to be rerolled for shooting)
3. A heavy robot variant with a gun that can target units out of LoS.

Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% fine with monopose figures - I run mostly old metals. But you need options. Back when Space Marines were metal you still had plenty of choices of models, arms, and equipment.

Plastic aspect warriors

I know its a tired refrain, but I'd not mind losing a small amount of character if that was required to make them multi-aspect kits.

you could pretty easily lump the heavy aspect shooters together: warp spiders, reapers, and fire dragons. just different heads and backpack/gun elements are all that would be needed.

hawks and banshees could also be easily lumped together with head/back/arm swaps and the same bodies.

that just leaves scorpions, spears and rangers in finecast. scorpions or rangers could easily be multiboxed with a new unit to deal with most of the eldar finecast range in three kits.

Ummh that\s only issue if they can't fit them on roughly same sprue size. Amount of plastic itself is irrelevant.

My point is that if GW wants to make all 3 kits "even" than they need to pair up the Aspects as I've suggested. It also matches the poses/stances of all of them the most closely.
Roughly the same sprue size isn't going to happen if 1 kit have the need for more parts due to Wings, jump pack and Deathspinner all being rather large

However, If GW wanted to make a more expensive kit by doing so, and thus make a Scorpion/Banshee kit less expensive by comparison, I could see them doing that too.
Especially since Scorpions/Banshees are likely not to sell as much as Hawks/Spiders.

I was reading through this thread again and realized a sad trend. Note how many people requested a great multi-part kit with options for a Warlord of their army? With the current GW direction, we'll probably get the opposite of that; a $35 single plastic sprue with one (maaaaybe two) weapon options, and all other options removed from the codex in future days, etc.

So, I guess be careful what you wish for. I can already smell the Ork tears if they release a new plastic Warboss kit and it has a single pistol, and an option for a power klaw or axe...and that's it. This is the single worst failing of GW in recent days and something which will hinder my enthusiasm going forward.

Shame, really. Doubly so when you consider how good their infantry dual kits normally are (and how many options are included on those). I'd even go so far as to say I'd warrant a $35 price tag on a single character if it came with half a dozen heads, 5-6 weapon options, a ton of personalization bits - akin to the wonderful Fantasy wizard kit from a while back. If you're going to charge an arm and a leg...allow the players to get something out of it rather than "hey you get these weapons, deal with it".

Yeah I touched on exact this above...Expecting plastic kit for character with tons of options isn't realistic at all. When was last time GW released character model with tons of options? As it is they have started to release units with less options as well...

Maybe GW read how much people hate the price of the dual kits so dropped the "dual"...Without dropping price while at it

Yes but that's old release from the era they did that empire wizard or high elf lord/wizard kits etc. They USED to do those but haven't done those for years.

The dark behind the eyes.

Dark Eldar:

- Either a Winged Archon or a Scourge HQ (or both as a dual-kit).

- A Mandrake Lord HQ kit.

- A Jetbike/Skyboard Succubus kit.

The sad thing is that I can convert any or all of these (already have with the Mandrakes), all I really need is some rules for the sodding things.

Sadly, there isn't enough space for me to ask for all the units that have been removed from the DE codex as well.
- Dracons
- Mini-Haemonculi
- Skyboard Haemonculi
- Trueborn
- Bloodbrides
- The Duke
- Baron Sathonyx
- Lady Malys
- Vect
- Vect's Dais
- The Decapitator

Anyone remember when new codices would have more units in them than the previous ones?

Biovore/Pyrovore combi box of 3 models
Lictor/Deathleaper combi box of 3 models
Ripper Swarms dedicated box of 9 bases with new sculpts

That would just about round out the range other than Shrikes and Skyslashers...

Also a LoW combi kit for the Malefactor and Dactylis (large organisms which both had the “slug tank” look with a lot of focus on huge arms (battering rams and massive spore launchers respectively).

If we’re really wishlisting, Tyrannoformation terrain. Huge plastic digestion pools, capillary towers and brood nests!

Tyranids could use
-A Biovore/Pyrovore kit. Which would get rid of two of the last metal/resin kits in the range.
-A Lictor/Deathleaper + maybe some new unit kit. Just because that gets rid of the other remaining metal/resin kit.
-A plastic superheavy. The forgeworld superheavies are nice, but are starting to show their age (they're based on the 3rd edition tyranid aesthetic). Plus most other armies have a plastic superheavy at this point.

EDIT: Oh, someone got in a minute before me

Oh yeah, this. I really don't understand why Reivers don't have some sort of power weapon to be honest. They have the number of attacks and the mobility to be a great CC unit, but are hamstrung by their lack of AP.

Just give us a datasheet and a sprue to give us like power knives or something like that on Reivers and we'd be sorted!

A main battle tank for the Custodians. The Caladius is really cool. I'd like something like it in plastic, that's not 1/army, and is actually good. Or maybe just the Caladius in plastic and with good rules.

A tank with crawler tracks and a turret, with an aesthetic similar to the ordinatus, for the admech. Ideally with alternate antitank and antipersonnel loadouts.
An IFV for the admech, possibly on the same chassis as the above main battle tank.

I can probably think of more...

A Protoss colony world

I'll bite:
Dark Angels:
1. The Lion. He's not the hero we need, but he is the hero we deserve. Plus hopefully the model would be even more awesome than Guilliman!
2. An actual Ravenwing Bike Squad kit that includes special weapons, rather than just 3 generic (and aging) SM Bike kits plus the Ravenwing bling sprue.
3. Interrogator-chaplain Sapphon. He's the one mentioned as the master Interrogator-chaplain in the codex and fluff, yet the model we have is Asmodai.

Chaos Space Marines:
1. New Berzerkers. The current kit is terrible, which is why I use AoS Khorne Bloodreavers as my Zerkers.
2. An actual kit that makes Chaos Chosen, with lots of weapon options. Why has there never been an actual kit for these guys?
3. Same as #2, but for Havocs. Could be like the SM Devastator kit, with 2 of each heavy weapon option.

Tau:
1. New Kroot, perhaps with new options or something.
2. New Vespids, again with new options or something.
3. Gue'vesa. I'd like to see models of actual human auxiliaries in the Tau forces.

Daemons:
1. Plastic Heralds for Khorne and Slaanesh. Nurgle and Tzeentch got plastic models for theirs, so why not the others?
2. Plastic Keeper of Secrets. This is most likely coming soon, since that is the only Greater Daemon that is still stuck with the old model.
3. Some new kind of Daemons that can be aligned with any of the four Chaos Gods, preferably with god-specific bits to alter the looks depending on their alignment. Maybe a new Furies kit would fit the bill here, but Furies are so, so bad...

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000
