Man, if only we had a community site that kept all of the
FAQ's in some handy location for ease of perusal...
Oh, wait...
https://www.warhammer-community.com/faqs/
Literally has everything that's come out and mentions the dates that they were updated. Every codex, the big
FAQ, even other things like Necromunda, Forgebane, and the Indexes. Not sure if something's been updated? Bookmark this page, check the dates. If the last time you played a game was December of last year, then yeah, you might be a little out of date. No problem, just skim the
FAQ, ask questions on community sites, forums, or discord channels for clarifications, and boom, you're back in the game.
I'm pretty thrilled that
GW is treating this game like the living, breathing monster that it is. Having one meta dominate for 3+ years was no fun. Remember when Grey Knights first came out? Remember Leafblower? That crap stuck around for a long time, too long. The entire time that
IG Leafblower was around, every time a Codex came out there were a hundred articles and forum topics that read: "IS THIS THE END OF THE LEAFBLOWER??" Only for everyone to conclude: No, Leafblower is still around.
What we have now is far superior. I'd rather people change their lists up, have new strategies, react to points changes, and make more interesting lists, than try to find the one or two netlists that dominate for 2-3 years and only buy those models. It got real old playing against the same lists year after year.
