Ah but then that asks the question

So why is that ok for strong male role models?

Also if GW ever pull their fingers out we can do all this with Sisters of Battle rather than yet more Marines. we already have St Clesetine as an angelic figure who gets her hands bloody.

So for me there is absolutely no need, because the game is already pretty varied and having 2 factions monosex is a nice change for the rest of the game.

I agree with this. I think it would be great if there were two monosex faction in the game. My proposition was to introduce femarine to every marine army, except for dark angels. Then you get your two monosex faction in the game. Deal?

There is really no reason why this could not happen. However, If they do this, I hope there will be only different heads. Space marine style power armour is so bulky that there really is no need to have gender-specific variants.

BTW, Statuesque Miniatures makes excellent female marine heads:

That and a few female special characters getting specific model, Shadowsun style, would be perfect.

People complain about readically changing fluff and the flavour of armies. Why gak all over Marines and their identity by trying to push female version into the official lore purely for "inclusiveness" or diversity.

Because marines are the "blank canvas" faction of 40k and letting that blank canvas be even more blank and allow for even more customization would be great. People are 100% free to keep their own chapter monosex if they want to.

In my eyes there are very few role models in 40k, male or female. The more likely role model characters are much more human and caring, and even then they don't mind blowing up a xenos planet.

I'm sorry, but at some point were you told that you couldn't customize your models with a certain type of head because that wasn't in the fluff?

I'm just curious, there's a pile of Catachans and some Genestealer Cult kits near my friend at his work table and we're just wondering if GW's explicit permission was required to make what we want. Otherwise, we've been doing this wrong for many years.
