We'll find out soon enough eh.

See, now that is how you do ludicrous, OTT, |m|etal fluff. Often these days GW's attempts to be that ridiculous just end up feeling like they're trying too hard, but that little blurb makes me wish I had some ability with filmmaking as it would make a great short.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Does anyone know if the cockpit will fit the larger knight - Castellan? I think.

It never ends well

Maybe, though the top hatch of the larger chassis is moulded in place.

The Cerastus Knights come with a detailed cockpit. A friend got a Acastus Knight a few months ago, so I'll try to update when I have a chance to ask him what kind of cockpit it has.

Update: a Google search led me to BrookM's Acastus build thread. So both come with a detailed cockpit, but no pilot figure.

I am really excited about this. I get another gatling cannon -plus carapace weapon - and can still make a canis rex - who is a cool way to tone down a knight list.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Canis Rex is up for preorder in New Zealand. In the surprisingly decent news of the day they did adjust its price. It is $220 NZD rather than the $314 reported in white dwarf. That has led to the rather curious case of it being $44 cheaper than rogue trader in New Zealand.
Here is the new sprue.

This is a really cool addition to the knight kit, the pilot's armour is really cool and the fact that you get him on foot as well should negate any extra cost that is added.

What exactly is the new weapon? It's nothing like I have seen before but I need it!

Las-Impulsor. It's in the Knight Codex.

And the carapace Multi-Laser is pretty cool.
