For sure: Ravagers with disintegrator cannons, guardsmen and cheap commanders, shield captain on bike, farseer, celestine and roboute. IG mortars and wyverns also.
They named all those new Ork units in a really strange unOrky fashion.
Yer, don' it just makez yer sick?

Being a necron player I agree.. but it's d6 shots. So yes it's a powerful vehicle for necrons but sub par to all other armies..
It's in the top 10% of vehicles across all factions IMO. Would you rather have a Predator? Even with re-roll on hits and wounds from Captain/Lieutenant I still feel like the DDA is better, it's probably also better than Fire Prisms. It's meh against a lot of lists sure, but against armies with no D2/Dd3 long ranged weaponry it's amazing. I think it might sneak in at a top 10 for best non-Titanic vehicles, but that's obviously a lot easier to get into than what we're discussing.
I haven't really seen many Ork players arguing Lootas aren't great, if they didn't think they were great why would they all bring them? I just think it's strange when people are considering not using Unstoppable Green Tide even once to use all their CP on Lootas when a very similar Chaos Stratagem had to be nerfed and is still considered to be a core part of what makes Cultists, which are on many people's top 10 of all units in the game, as good as they actually are. I don't think I can think of 10 units that are better in the Ork codex though, Lootas are definitely the killiest per point, except maybe the relic klaw Warboss, at least if you don't want to count the mandatory 3-6 units of Gretchin.

Unstoppable green tide is good for sure, but it's somewhat situational since you can only use it once and a lot of times your not gonna have a squad of boys in a weak enough state that hasn't been completely destroyed to justify spending 3 cp's.

Exactly, Green Tide is good, and worth the CP, but you have to be in the situation to use it. I feel it's relatively easy to either focus fire and kill a squad completely or split fire and drop all three squads to just above half strength. You can grot shield that one squad you're going to Da Jump, and that's really it for protection.
Lootas are always useful, they have the range and weapon profile to really not "waste" shots against basically anything in the game.
At 18 CP, You can throw CP at the lootas for the first three turns and still have enough for a tide left. Mob Up 1, Dakka 2, Show Off, 2, Shield 1, Dakka 2, Shield 1, Dakka 2, Shield 1 = 13.

Sydonian Dragoons and Kastelan Robots. Rangers suck. Almost all the competitive AdMech players use Guard or Blood Angels for their infantry.

I don't agree. DDA is a trash unit in my experience. What happen is, rolling number of shots, get a 2. 3s to hit, 3s to wound, get 1 wound. Lucky enough to go through that 5++, rolling damage, got a 1.......

DDA does 5.44 wounds to basically anything T6+ without an invul, a little more than a Quad Las Predator (5.19) but that's hardly a groundbreaking unit. Add in fly, shields, and the flayers it's definitely not bad, which makes it great for crons. Definitely not top 10 material though.
