MASSIVELY THIS!!!

My plea to you all.
Please could all of you add this in with your other comments. The current terrain rules are broken. I don't think you should have a game where a guardsmen can wound a knight but a bunch of scouts deployed wide on the top floor of a ruin should be un-chargeable

That is unlikely considering how much money they made from knights.
Better implementation instead would solve a lot of issues.

Give us some blooming warning before dropping an entire ranges from Fantasy/ AoS. (poor orks and goblins )

Less mono-pose or full body sculpts, it makes kit bashing really hard.

Bring back conversion kits like Chaos mutations sprue and Iron Hands prosthetic sprue.

Also, I'd really like it if DE could get some HQs that aren't just puddles of vomit.

I'm going to ask that they bring back Fanatic magazine.

Their Specialist Games have been getting more and more love and traction lately that it's possible to live and hobby on even one of those systems alone.

At this point, however, there's just too many of them for White Dwarf to cover in every issue. Some of these games - such as Middle-earth or the Horus Heresy - are absolutely massive, and frankly deserve a little more attention.

For all that White Dwarf has improved MASSIVELY recently (and it has, and I thank them for that), it's still flagging behind on two fronts:

1. A total aside, but the writing still isn't super engaging to read, and it's all a bit overplayed enthusiasm vs matter of fact. There was a casualness about the Sawyer-era that I miss immensely.

2. I can go months with barely any content relevant to me, as a primarily Horus Heresy and Middle-earth gamer. I have a bit of interest in 40K and Age of Sigmar, and I also have a good bit of interest in Blood Bowl, but the only thing I can consistently count on White Dwarf to cover for me is their two main flagsihp games. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that - it's their core business, the main thing they want to support and encourage with the largest, fastest moving core of development. It needs that focus. It's healthy. But that's why Fanatic magazine existed in the first place - because the specialist games can only be counted on to be covered in a couple of features per month, with the core Fantasy and 40K games taking up the majority of the magazines focus.

It's never going to happen, but it's what I want to happen and it's what I'm going to ask for.

10,000 30K/40K Space Wolves, 6000pts 30K Iron Warriors, 3200pts Daemons of the Ruinstorm
3500pts AoS Maggotkin of Nurgle, 3000pts AoS Stormcast Eternals, 2000pts AoS Skaven
1800pts Middle-earth Rivendell, 1000pts Grey Company, 600pts Iron Hills
1800pts Middle-earth Angmar, 1100pts Moria, 1000pts Dol Guldur

Updated Stormvermin sculpts. 1000%, hands down. Not too much to ask, i think.

Otherwise, it would be Noise Marines, but i have absolutely no doubt those are already on the way.

-Make cities of death rules baseline for Matched Play.
-Remove soup/CP farming (might be done in the FAQ by then, we hope)
-Split competitive play and matched play so that you can change the stuff breaking tournaments without impacting all games played at the local game store.

That's all I can think of right now

New stuff for 1ksons codex make it something other than codex Ahriman and daemon princes.

Buff all the Chaos Primarchs. Knights shouldn't be better than Primarchs.

I was also going to ask for Renegades and Heretics however I am 90% sure they are in the works after Blackstone Fortress.

I'd also do terrible things for a 40k Skaven army. TERRIBLE THINGS.

So some sort of special detachments where you take more rigid, fixed sets of units in fluffy combinations and get special rules for that...Hmmm...I'll bet that would encourage a lot of fluffy play, like seeing people taking space marine troops!

Maybe you could give them free transports or something!

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Terrain rules that had a positive impact on the game (besides the ridiculous base vs. height immunity to assault thing, you could remove most normal terrain and it wouldn't affect the game much) or changing los/effects/etc. to use a cylindrical volume based on the "official" base size rather than the model would be great, but are probably something for an edition change, not a faq.

For me, though, I'm going to ask for a revamp of BFG.

Ive played for years; collected awesome models, bought forgeworld and raided 5+ kits to put some units together. Sculpted them for hours.... If they take away my ability to play those units in all formats of the game, I'm going to walk into a games workshop and smash their thigns.

if they kill index options in an attempt to get me to replace VERY expencive things I legitimately bought and own with new stuff, they lose me.

I didn't mean with rigid detatchments. I meant with rebalancing the game.

Basic doods are Tacs, Assaults, and Devs.

Guardsmen are like Tacs. But worse weapons, worse durability, and practically no CC. But cheaper.

Fire Warriors are like Tacs with better shooty, less durability, and no CC. For fewer points.

Dark Reapers are Devs, but super-special Elves: sameish guns, but every guy gets one and no ablaitive wounds, and squishier.

Scorpions foil ASM - same CC, different (sidegrade) maneuverability.

And soforth.

Female Guardsman please! Gotta represent the ladies please. There isn't that much of us out there!

And real rough riders.

Infantry Squads should be 5 points.

Tactical Marines should cost the same as a marine scout. They are merely trading "deepstriking" for a 3+ armor save. It would make tacticals relevant again.

17,000 points (Valhallan)
10,000 points
6,000 points (Order of Our Martyred Lady)
Proud Countess of House Terryn hosting 7 Knights, 2 Dominus Knights, and 8 Armigers
Stormcast Eternals: 7,000 points

I honestly don't know what I'd say.

An attack for marines across the board?
A rework for terminators?
Skitarii scout move?
Better apothecaries?
Better chapter champions?

The list goes on, chances are I'd be the only one crowing for a fix to apothecaries so I'd get swept under the rug...

I got one,
Stop making new kits with new standart options for units and then PUTTTING ONLY ONE OF THE OPTION IN THE BOX.

Yes i am talking about chain axes for csm terminators, and rotor cannons and even basic bolters for csm.

If they want more money from me, then they need to do plastic aspects.

I'm already filled out on my other armies and their rules are lackluster and inconsistent - I have plenty of other, much better rulesets to use with their models and I'm not going to buy their nickle-and-diming rules to playtest them so I can end up buying round 2 of them (like what we're seeing with CSM).

It never ends well
