Still not as glorious as a singly spikey traitor IG with a powerfist channeling khornes fury and wacking a tank or knights to bitz.

During 7th edition I wrecked a wave serpent on his last hull point by charging it with a zoanthrope. He magnificently brain slapped that thing with a 6 to wound on his only attack.

I haven't played 40K in quite some time, but there was nothing as satisfying to me as Necron Scarabs devouring a tank.

Daemon Princes smashing tanks with their swords always amuses me. There are some nice options in PA2 for Supreme Command Detachments.

Heavy Bolter spam under Imperial Fist. Not because it's the most efficient thing in the world, but because the salty tears of rage at how broken that being possible is are the most delicious kind.

@ OP:

That´ easy. Play an older edition and target your opponent´s LRBT with a ML (Krak) in the first round. Roll a six for penetration and a six on the damage table for maximum enjoyment. I did this on two occasions against my pal and we concluded that ML (Krak) is simply more dangerous than a lascannon.
