These seem to be on the level mono faction boni should be. Allying actually remains as a sensible choice, unlike with the marines

It will be interesting to see how the "pick one or roll two" thing winds up playing out in practice. I suspect that the option to pick the best rule based ln what you're facing is going to beat out picking two at random most of the time.

LOE gives a reason not to roll

More beneficial than you realise - a natural 1 gives you a miracle die, and last time I checked, auto pass means you can still roll to fish for a 1...

Actually I was thinking of MSUs making Morale rerolls irrelevant since five-woman squads will die too quickly to get to make tests, but you're not wrong.

I am thinking of rolling for random ones each game, but only for lore reasons, not for real reasons lol

Think you'll see a lot of ignore Ap -1 and Ap -2 Sisters lists in the future so I think it'll be harder to kill those MSU Sisters units than you'd think.

I'm usually killing anything under T8 with high RoF S4 Ap - weapons. Actually I lose a lot of Marines to fire that fits that description too come to think of it.

If you build for it, the negative + bonus can actually make it even to favorable that you succeed against all but the most powerful psykers. For an army wide ability, that's actually very strong. Plus, you can ignore all but the kit of one canoness in match ups you're not using it.

Which is something ERJACK called out specifically in his post before getting called 'hyperbolically negative'.

So I guess he isn't wrong then?

I didn't say he was wrong, I just said its hard to take him seriously when he says stuff like the Gemini Superior are so bad he wouldn't take them for free. Or that 9pts for a Battle Sister is over-priced.

Methinks you should reply to a thread based on what is in the thread, based on what is going on elsewhere.

His post in this thread warranted a sensible reply, I think. There are some limitations with these "super doctrines" that need to be pointed out.

He said "you don't want to spend miracle dice on denies" because "Sisters need A LOT of help killing anything".

The first part is just plain wrong and theres a bunch of reasons you would want to spend miracle die on denying powers. The second part is (in my opinion) hyperbolic and typical of his overall posts towards the codex (that its a terrible codex). If I know someone has been loudly complaining about something elsewhere in a general sense and know it's colouring his opinions on a more specific topic within the overall issue then yes, what is going on elsewhere is relevant.

ERJACK has been very vocal about his dislike of the codex in the SoB tactics thread to the point where I feel like there is no use in trying to talk him around because it's clear he has made up his mind. He replied directly to me, so I'm assuming he wanted to get into a discussion about it which I don't want to be drawn into because it wouldn't result in anything constructive.
