In seriousness I think;

8 warbikes
1 KBB
1 SJD
1 wartrike
20(ish) grots
10(ish) boyz
1 dakkajet
1 kustom kff mek

I think that's it. Quite proud too. Also had my first child last year so finding time to paint has been hard.

Considering you're a new dad, that's a mighty good result for the year, congrats! The warbikes must have been a pain to paint though, it's not until you actually start painting all the separate bits that you realize they have so many parts you have to cover.

In all of 2019:
1 Exorcist
15 Strikes
3 Paladins
1 Paladin Ancient
1 Grandmaster
1 Predator
18 models from the Shadowspear box
1 Canoness
1 Rune Priest
~12 Sisters of Battle [Repainted]
1 Wolf Lord in Terminator Armor [Repainted]
~3 Wolf Guard Terminator Pack Leaders [Repainted]

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Considering I was trying to get an army ready for everyone's use in our playing group, I painted and converted a fair bit for the Imperial Guard:

4 Leman Russ tanks with all magnetized options
3 Leman Demolishers w/ options
3 Hellhounds w/ options
2 Chimera equivalents w/ options
3 Valkyries modified to be a bit smaller & opt to take Vendetta weapons
3 Basilisks
3 Hydraflak tanks
1 Manticore
6 Sentinels w/ options
60 basic Victoria Miniature troopers
15 sharpshooters
15 special weapons troops
15 storm troops
6 missile launcher teams
6 lascannon/heavy bolter/autocannon teams
8 modified ogryns
2 tech priests
3 commanders
5 psychers
3 commissars
10 cavalry made from GSC bikes
3 light trucks

1 space marine drop pod
3 assault marines
1 ork skrap wagon (of sorts)
2 chaos havocs
1 eldar falcon
5 wraithguard
1 wraithlord

Maybe a few others not off the top of my head. Quite a bit, looking back on it all!

Not much in terms of models. I think something like:
9 Tyranid Raveners
1 Malanthrope
1 Pyrovore
3 Biovores
5 2nd Ed Metal Space Marine Terminators
And I think a Space Marine Lieutenant, although that might have been 2018

But I did a bunch of terrain, however. Enough to make a reasonable 6x4 table filled with rock formations, craters, a "science station" building, radar, and at least one toy-turned-into-terrain walker vehicle. I can host games at my house now, so that's a major plus!

About 15 gears for Heavy Gear
One Mammoth Strider for Heavy Gear

I'm also very close to finishing another set of heavy gear models, and an entire shrine worth of sisters.

Not as much as I would like, but I managed a decent start:

Kill Team of 5 Plague Marines

Chaos Knight
2 Armigers
Chaos Lord with Combi-bolter and plague sword
Like halfway done with 10 plague bearers and poxbringer
Got the hood based coated on my converted sorcerer on palanquin of nurgle. Just don't have the heart to finish it now that I can't run it.

I'm actually quite proud of my output, but I'm sure some of you will dwarf that

10 Warbikers
1 Nob with Big Choppa
10 Gretchin
1 Boomdakka Snazzwagon
1 Kustom Boosta-Blasta
1 Shokk-Jump Dragsta
1 Megatrakka Scrapjet
1 Deffkilla Wartrike
2 Foetid Bloat-Drones
1 Winged Daemon Prince
1 Foul Blightspawn
1 Tallyman
1 Noxious Blightbringer
1 Malignant Plaguecaster
1 Lord of Corruption
Da Red Gobbo
Typhus
Mortarion

That's a lot of stuff. Efficient like a good old German should be. What did I paint? Ah, mostly finished stuff that was half-painted. In total less than ten minis.

There were quite a few things that helped me to speed up my painting:
- I wanted to play the ork buggies and it's hands down impossible to paint them after assembly, so I had to paint them in order to field them
- Our gaming group created a chat group where we try to motivate each other to get models done by posting finished models
- When my daughter paints pictures with watercolors, I paint models - dad time and hobby time at once is win-win.
- Despite me hating to paint, Mortarion, ork buggies and Da Red Gobbo were a lot of fun to paint

Oh, and feth ork bikers so much. I now have unit of 12 and I will never, ever paint a single one again.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

honestly that was a lot of why i painted all of my buggies. i put them together in sub assemblies and quickly realized i would never get the details done and it would look bad if i did not paint before assembly. ohterwise honestly i migh thave paitned one of each and then have just base coated the others.

on ork bikers I only take a little time each, assemble rider, and bike mostly other than gone, airbrush bade color, just tag in metal bits with copper and silver, bone bits in bone and then paint rider like a typical git. tabletop quality in a few horus per squad... but if you want like high quality paint... yea i have a few squads painted to that standard and they have a lit of hours into each model

These guys - the ones that came in the blue-bordered box
Spoiler:

But yes, I have a bunch of the other ones too. I have the full set of the Rogue Trader Terminators box, with the Captain w/aux launcher and the Librarian (not painted yet, actually being stripped right now) I filled that squad out with enough models to make a unit of ten, with extras for Cyclones and Flamers. I have at least two of those chaos Champion Terminators with the Daemon Weapon, too. As well as a complete five-man RT Chaos Terminator Squad. My goal was to have a complete 10-man unit for every major incarnation of the loyalist Terminators. I think I have all the models for that now. I also have a bunch of the 2nd Ed Chaos Terminators painted up, and I love em.

Some impressive lists of painted minis on here, which probably means a few more blogs to peruse! 2019 for me was the first year back to painting for quite some time. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it and how much I got done;

Warhammer 40k (2019 total = 61)
Blood Angels
3 x 2nd Edition Tactical Marines
4 x 2nd Edition Tactical Marines
1 x 2nd Edition Brother Captain Erasmus Tycho
1 x 2nd Edition Chief Librarian Mephiston, Lord of Death
1 x 2nd Edition Techmarine

Space Wolves
1 x 2nd Edition Wolf Guard Captain in power armour
6 x 2nd Edition Blood Claws (originally Grey Hunters)
1 x Rogue Trader Leman Russ

Tyranids
6 x 2nd Edition Hormagaunts

Blackstone Fortress
4 x Ur-Ghuls
4 x Spindle Drones
4 x Chaos Beastmen
4 x Negavolt Cultists
7 x Traitor Guard
2 x Rogue Psykers
7 x Traitor Guard
1 x Traitor Commissar
1 x Chaos Ogryn
2 x Chaos Space Marines
1 x Obsidius Mallex

Warhammer Fantasy (2019 total = 39)
High Elves
20 x High Elf Spearmen
1 x Eltharion on Stormwing

Chaos
7 x BattleMasters Chaos Warriors
1 x Heroquest Chaos Warrior
10 x BattleMasters Chaos Beastmen

I owe a good part of the progress to the inspiration and encouragement from many dakkanauts!

Thank you sir! To be fair, I changed my Warbiker technique mid way and the way I now do them is pretty quick. Hefty metallic drybrush then pick out details. They are a graft no doubt, not as much as the buggies though, Christ. They took a LONG time.

Very little. Test-case models for a lot of armies during a frustrating cycle of deciding "I'm going to sit down and finish (Army X)", then because I play 40k too much I come home from the game store every week thinking "Why did I bother to buy minis for army X?" and then get something else out. A lot got started, not a lot got finished.

Specifically for 40k, I managed the following:

2 x Poxbringer (Nurgle Herald)
12 x Poxwalkers
10 x Plaguebearers
3 x Nurgling Swarms

10 x Cadian Conscripts
1 x Catachan Lieutenant
1 x Catachan Special Weapon Squad
1 x Company Commander
2 x Inquisitorial Stormtroopers
1 x Platoon Commander
1 x Steel Legion Heavy Weapon Squad
1 x Tech-Priest Enginseer

1 x Techmarine

2 x Ryza-pattern barricade
1 x Ryza-pattern hatch

I didn't achieve anything hobby-wise after the start of July, though - having said that, I've been working on building a Thunderer Siege Tank recently, so maybe I'm getting back into things.

I had to go take a look at those models, the ones I've seen in person were base-coated so the detail was hard to see. Great Gork on a cracker those look awful to paint. Not as bad as Dawn Eagles I think, but not by very fething much.

(I felt the same way after painting my Marine Bikes/Attack Bkies and my Dawn Eagles. I did those three projects back-to-back, that was a mistake.)
