Deliberately annoying someone? The peak of humour. /s

So yes, they're donkey-caves for doing that. And if you'd do the same, you're also an donkey-cave.
10/10 one of the best uses of quotes I’ve seen here on dakka . But I fail (do it again, do it again) to see how that even comes close to mocking, much less something that something you couldn’t simply drive on with your life.

I don't think it's the quote, so much as it is apparently everyone saying it all the time.
My own name IRL is ripe fodder for jokes, and I've heard pretty much all of the puns and references that go with it. It's a fun ice breaker when I'm just meeting someone for the first time, and can lead to some fun jokes. It's not the depth of my humour though, and it'd just get old very quickly if that's all there was.

There is a difference between not liking a joke that you overhear, and not liking jokes that are specifically directed at you. I don't think it is ok to tease someone, and then keep doing it when it is obvious that they don't like it. There is a certain lattitude with teasing humour among friends. However, people should be able to realise the point at which it crosses the line, and be able to stop.

Willful ignorance is like that, yes.
They know it gets on his nerves, and they do it anyway just to annoy him, over and over again, finding pleasure in his annoyance, which is textbook trolling behavior and also makes them a bunch of donkey-caves.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I wanna throttle people who yell "WAAGH" or say "communist hurpdurp fish durp", or even worse, call something "heresy" during the game. They're as funny as the lobotomy victims that say "guess it's free" when things don't scan at the till.

Locking thread as this has gone nowhere but a bad place in a rather quick fashion, not to mention people being awfully rude to one another.
