Google literally ANY female servicemember in their uniform and body armor and tell me you can spot their femininity from that scale. Now, apply that to plate armor. A woman in armor should be completely indiscernible from a man in armor other than height, maybe.

Looking for dice from the new AOS boxed set and Dark Imperium on the cheap. Let me know if you can help.

Obligatory Statuesque Minis article link. Scroll past the cadians and look at the Perry historical headswaps.

Image searching for 'female reenactor plate armour' gives up pics like this and this in the first few results.* There's so much padding and stuff that has to go on under that, as standard, that you can stick a helmet on and not have much of a clue who's under there. And like I said last time, chaos warriors are weighed down with stuff on top of all that.

The way to differentiate female CW from male, aside from head swaps and boob armour? Trimming down the size of the boots. Probably the hands too. Unfortunately that's a kind of a tricky and time-consuming thing to do if your plastic-carving skills aren't honed or if you don't have replacement bits handy.

* Strangely, a few results further down is reknowned fantasy/LotR artist John Howe.

Man, that sure is some boobplate on Joan here:

Spoiler:

Wait, no, the other thing.

Every single nigh contemporary artistic depiction of women we historically know wore plate depicts them looking no different from a man sans the head.

Dude, you tried hard but still failed miserably. WHFB and WH40K are fictional settings where witch elves in skimpy armour and SOB in boob plate exist for artistic reasons. Trying to force realistic concepts into such fantastical settings is more than ludicrous.

I love the way you're so certain with only vague adjectives. 'Artistic reasons'? Realistic concepts are ludicrous? Please explain.

Hey guys, this is someone showing off an army, not discussing boob plate and the like, back on topic.

Hi, maybe it would be a good idea to open a separate thread for the discussion about female miniatures and conversion kits, and let a mod move the replies to this topic into it?

Thanks for respecting netiquette.
