Can I ask where you got those drop pod-looking things from?

I hadn't heard of Brigade Models too - some very reasonably priced terrain there so thanks for that!

They are actually drop pods. from onslaught miniatures. they have various versions, open, closed and even deathstorms...oddly enough he has them in his "sisters of battle" section. along with all the classic looking space marine bikes

Yeah i have a ton of brigade stuff in 3mm(for victory at sea naval battles) 6mm and 15mm. it is very reasonably priced and good quality.

Well, that's because his Sisters are his Space Marines, even down to having Terminators. Onslaught's stuff is really good, even if he has a somewhat nonstandard selection of armies for the most part.

Thanks for that - probably some of the nicest price options I have seen, save having to get the horrendously priced original GW ones (which must not have sold in any great quantity for them to be the prices that they are).

Welcome to the 6mm life my friend. where you can break out all the biggest toys and field huge armies, experiencing the grand scope of battles in the 40K universe from titans and air power all the way down to the basic trooper...and all for a reasonable price.

My friends guard army was the most expensive i think at about $200 US but that's for something akin to 10K points in 8th or in excess of $4,000 in 28mm scale-and included IIRC
12 chimeras like 100+ guardsmen, several command squads, a bunch of bullgryn, a dozen hellhounds, a shadowsword, a marauder destroyer, a few thunderbolts, 3 manticores, 9 basalisks, 3 bombards, a half dozen sentinels, half a dozen hydras, at least as many leman russ tanks of various variants, a couple preators...and that's just what i remember

P.S. GW titanicus minis are fully compatible as well-

Here is some of my IG and earlier collection with a reaver-

That looks very cool! Have got to get me one of those Reavers at some point..

Know what you mean about the prices. I've been able to sort out armies for both myself and a friend at probably the cost of a couple of 28mm scale GW vehicles.
