Yeesh, metric ton of old (and new) games at my disposal, staring back at me.

For now, WEG D6 Star Wars, though I'd like to break out Epic and one day play some Battlefield Gothic.

It never ends well

Quite a lot on the RPG and boardgame front, but on the miniature gaming side at least the following, possibly others:

Epic Armageddon (gaining in regularity)
Battlefleet Gothic (a few games a year)
Blood Bowl (through the unsupported years to this day)
Space Hulk, Calth etc. boxed games (a few games a year)
Confrontation (Rackham, rarely)
Inquisitor (on backburner while I'll eventually get to rewriting the thing into usable condition)

#ConvertEverything blog with loyalist Death Guard in true and Epic scales. Also Titans and killer robots! C&C welcome.

AT-43 and Confrontation: Age of Ragnorok. The prepaint were polarizing, but I thought they were fine for what they were, and really liked the rules for each of the games. I have 4 large armies for (each) game, so plenty of replay value even at my own house.

Perhaps an OOP gaming convention might be a good idea.

That'd be cool.

Looks like we have a few people on this side of the Mississippi in this thread alone, and I read of a convention a while back when we had conventions put on by some of the folks in the oldhammer community from one of the blogs that I follow, so it is not that outlandish.

I found a local store that had two boxes of AT-43 core game, and I am sorely tempted to pick it up.

I benefited greatly from the FFG Christmas sales years ago.

Warhammer historical.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

I'd be down for that, as would my brother

A Protoss colony world

I still have decently large collections of Decipher's Lord of the Rings TCG and Star Wars CCG (anybody remember those?), and my brother and I occasionally play with them. I gave my brother my old collection of Star Trek CCG and he introduced it to a couple of his friends (who are big fans of Trek).

Other than those, I do have a collection of WotC's Star Wars Miniatures game stuff, but I haven't played it for several years, so not sure that counts. I would also mention Star Fleet Battles, but it's technically still supported by its parent company (for the time being, I don't know how much longer), so I'm not sure that one counts as OOP either.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2024: 40 | Total models painted in 2025: 25 | Current main painting project: Tomb Kings
