This time it is the dread elf legions from Caballero Miniatures.

This unique take on dark elves gives them a roman theme and armor to match, although there are variants available with more traditional garb.

Shields packs have also been made available, as there have been 11 shield variants made available with these miniatures.

shields were just updated, so there some kite shield options now.

I feel like the Medusa shields would work well on a Greek hero and his retinue.

What is the head covering on the right side Crow Bearer? It makes me think of a babushka, which somehow makes the elf more interesting to me.

From what I understand it's just a hood with ears slits cut out. And then of course there's the cloak that's clasped just under it.

My thought is that he was trying to mix Roman with some slight religious garb. One of the new units that he's working on currently is essentially Roman chamber militant like the guys from game of thrones. I believe they're going to count as which elves/ whatever name the hotels are called in ninth age.

So, here is one of those Highlord Tamburlaine videos I mentioned a while ago. The company is Maker’s Cult. They make space knights, some of which are quite distinctive.

I'm a patron of theirs personally. unfortunately, due to what I surmise is most of their kits being recognizably influenced, they don't offer a merchant tier.

I hope I’m not suppressing discussion by replying flippantly, but the chariot and the flying carpet are the winners for me. The HRE guys would be tempting if I didn’t have boxes of Empire State Troops stashed away.

I doubt you are. With 4 thousand views and just us replying to one another, I think some people are just enjoying our discussion.

The chariot is great, and the flying carpet is quite dynamic.

The Zweilhanders are amazing, and loads better than GW greastwords IMHO

For those who play The 9th Age: We were requested if we could come up with a miniature solution to represent Imperial guard with swords and shields.

Renders below are mock ups. For example, I know the torso on the tomb cataphract's snake mount is slightly out of place.

My first suggestion would be to change which pictures show up on the listing or menu pages for the Shabti and cataphracts. The images imply one can buy a set of 3 cataphracts or 5 shabti for $20, when they are $20 per miniature.
