Now that Kirton Games offer a 3D print service I've jumped in with one physical set of Vuctorian Guard plus the digital bundle.

Who are the Border World Rangers supposed to be?

Cloaks and celtic accoutrements would suggest Tanith. While the books don’t have them with a rough rider contingent I think it will still be a popular option, and the models do look nice.

Just because I'm unfamiliar with Kickstarter and english is not my Native language: do I understand it right, that I can pledge for one set and later and another after the campaign finished?

Yes, there will be a pledge manager, which will be open for backers for one or two weeks after the campaign. It will look like an online store where you can change your choices and add shipping and tax. You can also change your choice while the Kickstarter is running.

Arcadian Rough Riders have just been unlocked! They are now the 6th regiment in Project Warhorse. They are now included FREE in the Digital Mega Bundle and physical squads can be added to your pledge.

I hope it's the penal legion. I have a couple of squads of Vic penal legion and they are great, lots of character.

If you just put up sketches and complete afterwards, people would be fine with that. Lots of kickstarters do that for unexpected stretch goals.

Yes, but they have greatcoats and not proper hussar jackets, and frankly, Victoria sculpts tend to be higher quality so I'd prefer their take on the concept.

How reasonable was the quote from Kirton? Not in a position to use my printer at the minute and I've got some stuff I'd consider sending over to them.

It was in the region of £50 with P&P on top. That was for two sets of horses and torsoes/ heads plus one each of lances, left arms, bugle/banner and the alternate arms set (lasguns, pistols, demo charges).

I've used Kirton Games once before for the Lillibet, Potentate of Terra (Think a grimdark, hovering throne interred Elizabeth II) stl that was offered as a freebie via Youtube. Delivery was quick and at a nice price.

Courtesy of UK based Kirton Games and their 3d printing service, my first Rough Rider squad from the Kickstarter.

First thoughts? I like them. There's plenty of detail on the models including additional items like melta bomb equivalents and so on.








I have a second squad to build up and they'll be equipped up with the alternate arms shown below.



After that, it's wait to see how the siocast physical models I have on order compare to these prints.
