Battlefield Earth! I remember seeing that on TV 2005/6 and being AMAZED how bad it was...

Spolier alert - the goodies save humanity by flying 1000 year old Harrier jump jets that mysteriously require no maintenance, fuel, barely any training even by pilots who have regressed to a stone age level of technology... despite the fact that these were the same planes that failed to ward off an alien invasion centuries previously flown by competent pilots...

It's a laugh at times but don't go looking for deeper meanings

That basically sums up every post-apoc situation of "we found this old tech and will use it to beat the great threat"

You see the same thing in Battleship where a decommissioned WW2 warship can apparently be brought up to battle-ready in a couple of hours by a a handful of people - over half of which are very old and retired.

This list:

1. Has no idea what an Action movie is

2. Is depressingly mainstream

The person who wrote this has never truly plumbed the depths of cinema. At best, they have dipped a toe in. You could find a "worse" list of movies just by going to the Tubi Action section and seeing what the 40 movies they are offering at the moment is.

6 or 7 I think. It's been a while though.

Then that seems like a sequel thread, create the list of the worst action movies.

At 6, my eldest's eyes were blue. At 12, they're hazel, and still darkening.

Oh. Didn't know that could happen. Well I guess the movie isn't as bad as I thought it was.

Thanks for that, I honestly learned something today.

Fair enough, but I also know I don't know enough to attempt it!

Saw several movies on this list, and their biggest sin is being completely forgettable.

I thought Virus was alright. Some quite nasty biomechanical body horror, one of the more delicate friends I saw it with (I actually saw this at the cinema, folks) had to leave before the end...

Mission accomplished, I'd say.

@Geifer - it was an arcade rail shooter with the most paper thin plot this side of Commando on the zx spectrum. Not sure how Bill could have wrecked that part of it.

However, the dialogue, pacing and point are terrible.

It has Jurgen Prochnow. For no good reason. And for some reason an island that appears to be in the pacific north west of the US has a Spanish name applied. It’s just so disjointed!

Budgetary considerations kind of got in the way of many Boll movies. Take Far Cry and its lovely tropical island setting. The game is great. The movie... looks like Canada. Oh Canada.

Good thing the movie does have Jürgen Prochnow. That makes it not quite as bad. At least once we're a bit into the movie. The dialogue in the first ten, fifteen minutes is a crime against humanity or something.

Damn kids these days and their changing whims! When I was that age (I was never that age) you had one eye color and you'd like it!

Luxury! Back in my day we used to dream of having an eye colour! We had no colour all month long and we were happier for it!

We were so poor, we had one eye between us.

Kids today, I remember when I was young, and some sailors came by the island and stabbed my uncle in his one good eye with spears and then left on some damn3d odyssey or something.
