Somewhere in Canada

Morven Vahl + 9x Paragons (The Holy Walkers)

+

Karamazov + 6 Penitent Engines + 6 Mortifiers (The Penitent Walkers)

I don't know if it's "the best" but it would certainly be the one I'm most likely to play. I have Karamazov, 3 x Painted Classic Metal PE's, the plastic launch box PE and three boxes of two dual build PE/ Mortifiers plus Morvenn and 3 Paragons... So I'm part way there.

I'd say that T'au are probably the best at it as they have the most variation and flexibility if what you can bring and are very much designed with this style in mind.

As a side note, you can run all mecha Space Wolves if you run Bjorn as your Warlord.

I just wish there were some close combat, beam saber weilding Tau battlesuits.

All the ranged stuff is boring.

They have Farsight, and they used to have some experimental wargear. But no idea if that made it through the culls of streamlining editions.

CC is very against the theme of the army, but there is/was a little.

I think the Custodes Solar Spearhead could be fun, running a bunch of Golden Kool-aid men at your opponent...

You could take 3 each of the:

Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought

Contemptor-Galatus Dreadnought

Telemon Heavy Dreadnought

Venerable Dreadnought

And of you wanted to be super silly you could add a Freeblade Armiger or 3.

Not at Forge World prices, thankyouverymuch.

If I could find good files that work well in FDM, I'd do it myself.
