That doesn't look too bad.

^^; I have a Deimos-pattern FW Exorcist and a MkII Rhino exorcist built out of a harrier jumpjet's gun pod and drop tanks. I'd post an image, but I'm rather ashamed of it (and don't have it to take a photo of right now).

Could be worse, I got the actual model but can't keep it together and the gaps.

Kudos! I think that one actually looks better than either of the original versions.

The problem that sisters are honestly facing is "the sculpt." the codex is written but the sculpts are "not to standard." believe me, as a owner of metal sisters purchased in the last twelve months, I look forward to plastic miniatures that have the same quality as the new chaos, dark angels, chaos daemons, and new tau that are forth-coming. I would rather have a perfect video game that was pushed back due to finding "bugs" in the system, than recieve some glitchy piece of (explitive deleted.) so yes, I'm disheartened, but ever hopeful. In the mean time my night lords will continue to be the intergalactic playa-hata ballas. And whenever I chose to dust em' off, my three exorcists will provide the emperor's wrath to mine enemies. Rooks to king's arse.

haha nice line. Yeah, exorcists just let you feel the wrath when you roll those 6s. As for the sculpt I heard rumours that plastic sisters were hard to do because dangling robes is hard to get into a multi-part plastic kit without looking weird.

Could just a troll source, but it seems like a logical reason, any sculptors that disagree?

That was the old excuse, but I refer you to the Empire Wizard and the recent High Elf kits for more modern examples.

Even the Daemonettes plastics, you can't tell me people wouldn't be happy with a set of plastic sisters with that level of detail. The simple fact is it's likely that one of two things happened: Dark Eldar made loadsa money, but not enough to feed the gaping hole in Kirby's spirit that endlessly hungers for profit, or; Dark Eldar made loadsa money, and Kirby has decided to hold back any more large-scale revamps in order to prop up the quarterlies when his current strategy of squeezing blood from a stone in search of "efficiency savings" and shoring up sales figures with price rises stops working.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

For every excuse someone, somewhere, has heard on why we don't have plastic models for SoB, we can easily point to a production model that immediately proves it wrong.

Unless it's "they were going to make them all finecast, but they can't seem to figure out how to get gigantic bubbles from forming on their *body part*."
