If I were going to enter a scene (time-dependent), would Zi have to count dead minis in the entry count?

Just wondering.

Nah, corpses wouldn't count unless you want them to! I would count any live minis, though (and you tank+gunner would only count at 1!)

I haven't checked in for a while, some great stuff, I can tell my votes are going to be hard fought for.

@mad_eddy_13: Awesome plasticard work on that little vehicle, it's very basic but you've pulled that off to an advantage, it doesn't look like a box on wheels! my only critique would be the multi-melta, it looks a little unbalenced, otherwise fantastic work

@Arclaw: About damn time we saw some infinity! I know how tiny and hard to paint those models are, great work!

@queen_annes_revenge: fantastic little diorama, how did you do the water effects?

@ckig: wow, very nice shading on the purple, really looking forward to seeing that finished.

As to my own entry...

...I've not managed to get any more done on my entry, its a distinct possibility that I won't finish, I'll try though.

Best of luck all on the final week!

Can I make a last minute change to "my living room walls" as the lovely wife has decided that if I've got so much painting time then she has a better use for my skills
Might have to take some more WIP shots in case I don't finish in time!

Definitely I will only attempt to finish one Cyboar!

Race is on, I'm painting the Nob - cyboar and his banner grot are finished, just need to paint the Ork.... If all fails I guess I'll just enter the grot

YAY! I'm done!!!

These were done using the new Citadel brushes (it was actually an experiment to give them a fair shake). If you want my final thoughts on those brushes, as well as a few WIP pictures and unfinished bits to highlight work from some of the brushes, I made a separate thread here:

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/649917.page#7856524

Paradigm, if that is too many pictures... please feel free to drop whichever ones you want I just did my usual layout thing for my finished models. The second picture is actually the same as the one of the photos in the collage; it's just blown up bigger And... THANK YOU again, bud. We all know it's a lot of work that you do to keep an event like this running from one month to the next.

So, possibly it was a bad idea to commit to building a superheavy flyer as my entry and wait until I finished my previous WIP to start painting it. Oh well. Painting has started and maybe I'll be able to enter a mostly-done shot of it, even if the last weathering won't be done.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

That valk and Stormraven ends it, I'm done lol.

Explanation, bit graphic:
Spoiler:

I may just enter the epic tank without a base. My birthday is in a few days, and there is drama due to a family member of mine having an affair.

Yeah... plus Nurgle is rotting me.

I did add more to my tank, finished it by adding more layers, chapter icon and a decal. Had a clearcoat disaster though.

He looks great, love the skull face, and the base is brilliant! No such thing as losers here! Painted minis= a win in my book!

@Matthew: those look great! Hope you don't mind me saying that you seem to be coming on leaps and bounds as a painter! Just remember to take your final pics against a nice clean background, it'll do wonders for them! I've found a curved sheet of blue paper works well. Here's a good tutorial:

Some really nice models this month! Standard seems really high, might have been slightly more intimadated out of having a go if everyone's figs looked this good last time (this is my first go). Just a few WIP shots as not sure I'll get this finished on time, as going away near end of week and feel like I should have something on here in case I don't get finished.

Awesome! You could well be looking at another win there!

Since I missed a couple of entries last month, can everyone who has entered final pics just check I've added them to the OP and listed you as finished. Wouldn't want to miss anyone this time! And if you end up wanting to submit a WIP as final, can you please make that clear when you post it!

Thanks!

Many thanks Paradigm, maybe- though I really like Onemannoodles' entry, and your NMM is very impressive, something I've never attempted before.
