4K to Mystic Circle!

At this point, I added the $15 to my pledge for one. I think I will also pay my shipping after the campaign. That way i can lock in for more mini's now and worry about paying shipping latter. I'm in Wave 3 anyway lol

What is going on with that dragon's face? Is that crumpled armor?

I hadn't even noticed the armor plates until you mentioned them

Actually makes me like it more. I also appreciate the pose being more table friendly than the average dragon sculpt.

I always wanted that mini since i 1st saw it when getting into this hobby. The expenses and headache of a metal mini that big keep me from buying it. I will be putting down for her ASAP when she unlocks.

It's nice enough - but at this point it's starting to feel like "geesh, another big dragon?"

I would think by Bones III the people who wanted big dragons would have a half-dozen or more by now.

Yep. IIRC, Reaper said that dragons were their best selling Bones miniature. At the store, their best selling miniatures are "the kind men like".

Anyway, hope the ROW who aren't picking up the core set at least stay around for the add-ons!

If you gave me the option to get lots of individual models for $2 each rather than $10 OR one Dragon for $10/$15 rather than $60 I know I would be picking the Dragon option every time.

Very cool dragon. Hope it translates well to Bones- it looks a little top heavy.

So far, decent.

I"ve really loved the Bones sets so far. This one does seem a bit slow to start off.

I really hope we get some more Yuan-Ti Style models, and cobras and what not. I'd love a "Jungle" expansion based on those.

Frost Giants, sweet.

Well I'm in for $1. I'll be getting the fantasy terrain and probably that dragon rider because that's amazing.

the easiest way to find the big bones models is to sort by price, and then go to the last few pages:

Still not taken by the core set, but in for a $1, the mystic circle and Lavarath. Might go for the giants as well.

Hoping they pick up the pace with the stretch goals, there seems to be too much of a gap between them so far.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

Same here. And I agree. There is a pretty large gap but then again I just want more terrain so whatever

They have said that they are spreading out the stretch goals in the beginning compared to last time in order to have shorter stretches between them in the middle of the campaign. They are hoping that doing it this way will keep momentum going through the middle of the campaign, and will keep stretch goals unlocking consistently throughout the entire campaign.

I hope they don't spread things out too evenly and kill interest in their product by keeping the momentum... at too sedate a pace. I can think of one recent kickstarter that planned out the timing for every reveal and stretch goal, and that campaign made less than a fifth of what the 'industry experts' the creators consulted had predicted.

That said, the core pledge for Bones 3 is seriously weaksauce, so that might be a bigger issue.

I'm curious which campaign you're referencing Bob.

Sedate is boring. Give me Tom Cruise levels of crazy any day.

It makes for good conversation at the very least.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
