Finally finished my Maulerfiend conversion!





Ended up overdoing the blood a bit I think.. but hey, he's seen some things....

HOLY CRAP THAT IS EPIC!

Managed to get my Interrogator finished up, he turned out alright. Got some nice ghostly fire, and a wood grain effect in there, as well as a facial tattoo.

Admittedly, I could probably spend some more time on the piping and a few little details that are a bit messy, but oh well.

The Maulerfiend and Interrogator both look great, congrats Chief and Winter for finishing them.

I probably wont finish this month as i started painting but it turns out the paint I'm using will need a few coats, and I've deemed it to tedious, though we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Well just in time for Xmas I finished the main guy, if I don't finish in time I'll just submit him. (now to finish just several helpers and a sleigh to paint ekk)

Pretty cool stuff so far from everybody. I've decided to stick it out with the assassins for now, although I've continued to have difficulties doing the edge highlighting. I sometimes have trouble keeping my hands steady enough for that kind of work. Anyway, here's a quick WIP shot:

Merry christmas everyone, I finally got bit by the painting bug and I know its almost the 11th hour but I am entering my raven guard jump pack chaplain.

Wow, that Shadowseer is sublime stuff, everything I wanted (and failed to achieve) from my own Harlequin minis!

Looks like I'm not going to have a great deal of time to paint up anything else of note this month, but I did manage to get a couple of minis painted up the other day that have come out quite nicely. I wasn't expecting them (my first X-wing repaints) to be entry-worthy so I didn't take a proof, but does anyone mind if I throw them in as my entry for this month?

why would anyone mind?

Isn't this just for fun? I don't see an issue with entering anything you've painted during that month.

Oh, and I'll probably be posting my completed entry soonish. I want to just get another drone done before I post it, but I'm done already if I need to be D:

Got a lot of work in on my chaplain. I got the chance to use some of the new raven guard legion transfers that fit the mk 4 armor perfectly, who would of thunk huh? . Just waiting on the microset/sol and realistic water to dry over night then another coat of gloss to seal in the transfers and another layer of realistic water plus some clean up and I am almost done!

Finished, and it's too bad I can't take photos to save my life :(. Oh well, welcome to my little drone shop.

May not get any further with my jerp, so I'll try and get it varnished and photographed.

A friend needs some distraction company this week, so I don't mind putting this on hold. Looking forward to seeing the voting stage!

I will be cutting it darn close but I should be able to complete my models. We are expecting to be snowed in with about a foot of snow so all my other plans for my Monday and Tuesday off have been pushed back. Painting time it is!
