There is only so much that will get seen before they have to cut off the questions and finalize the changes before they release. I know parts of the internet are sure they should work on these documents until they're due, but a line has to be drawn somewhere if they have and hope of getting things done with any level of accuracy.

Yes, but they failed in the accuracy of even this FAQ. Just a quick cursory glance shows that they "fixed" the base loadout of the Stormblade by removing the side sponsons and making them optional, but we still only have points for the twin heavy bolters, and none for the lascannons, so a Stormblade with two sponsons costs . So the "fixes" require fixes. That's a problem with what's supposed to be a premium product with a premium pricetag.

Definitely get a Contemptor. The Night Lords Contemptor is wicked. I've heard that the Proteus kit can be a pain, let me know how it turns out. Sicarans are much better now that they have a 2+ save. Got Dreadclaws?

Also, that's probably the first time I've ever been called a "puritain".

Edit: And "Ark of Unnameable Horror" was a way better name for the Chaos Proteus's special rule than "Exploratory Augury Web".

Yeah contemptor is 100% on my list. I didnt get one yet because i just finished painting two of them for my Thousand sons and i dislike painting the same model multiple times.
Proteus is my favorite visuals on tanks in 40k. Big tracks that go over the hull does something to my nether regions. I'm 100% gonna use it for the various land raider types (achilles, chaos, proteus).

Got a single dreadclaw right now, still unpainted because i gotta find some corpse bits or something to put on it.

Well, good those Contemptors are now 100% legal for your Thousand Sons now (bad you have to pay CP for them when loyalists don't). If you like the all around treads look for Land Raiders Blood and Skulls Industry has a conversion kit for that, been thinking of trying it out myself. As for Dreadclaws, I always thought all of those "bits" would burn off during atmospheric entry, so left mine unadorned except for the requisite lighting. To each their own.

theyre clearly corpse statues made out of ceramite, gotta make sure the spook can endure any environment :p. Its a fair point tho, so far i've got chains on it, might as well just go ahead and paint it

and yeah, i spotted the blood and skulls industry stuff, looks dope. But i like the chunky hull of the proteus more than the vanilla one. plus shipping b&s to canada costs mucho monies
