to clear things up nick it was a complete accident and if it WASN'T intentional i would not have immedialty posted on dakka after i died trying to put the forest out and i reallly didnt mean to do it i forgot about area effect of netherack fire and it wil not happen again!

On another note, production of my supar mob grinder is well underway, so soon ill be able to tear down that eyesore of one near sanc.

Get the minecraft server script from the minecraft wiki (too lazy to google right now), one of the script options is to backup. Running that automatically (or manually) every few hours allows you to keep snapshots of the server in different states, and then just shut down the server, rename the world folder and copy the backed up snapshot folder to the world folder location before restarting and all is back up and running . Very simple.

Wait, the sever is redone again! now i have to build my roof AGAIN!

Hey everyone, just a few comments quickly.

My house, Shivan's glasshouse with the lava, contains the Hall of the Banned, a small room dedicated to the memory of those who died so that we may continue our fine server in peace.

Also, there is a massive doorbell contraption and a leap of faith off the main entrance. If anyone messes with the doorbell, I will be a bit saddened. The leap of Fairh is where the three redstone torches represent the leap, and it is, may I say so, quite fun.

So, if anyone can PM me about my house if something happens to it (I won't be able to play MC this weekend, I'm sailing and don't have the time), that would be superb.

I've placed signs all over my area. Also placed signs near my winter retreat and its biome, gonan place more whenever I log in to complete it.

Mel, does your winter retreet have a underwater room with a glass roof?

My winter retreat right now has a door, a layer of cobblestone foundation, and two layers of wood plank walls with a chest and a small underground area. It's not finished.

is it in a hill?

It has a sign indicating that it is mine. That should make it obvious.

well the base near the strong hold has no sighns so i have not buit to close for all i know.
