I know it's easier to do lots of something while you have the kit out and ready to go, but that's a lot of casting you appear to be doing... are we to anticipate a big terrain build from you in the near future?

Never tried this kinda thing , hearing lots about it here on Dakka, just going to have to have a go I guess. How well does this lot take paint?

Ortho Plaster takes paint and glue much better than Plaster of Paris. That stuff sucks, never use it. It's still porous, but only slightly. I'm not sure what I'm building yet, but I need roughly 300+ basic bricks to get started. What you see there stacked is about 100. The Doc is right, its just easier to keep rocking and rolling while I have everything out. Once the blocks are cast, they'll keep forever without a problem. They just need to cure for at least 24 hours before gluing together. And you really need to have enough bricks cast before starting to build.

well..it WAS http://plaster-supply.com but they seem to have gone out of business..I dunno, I have their Phone and email.

..but gypsum is gypsum I suppose, You can get it anywhere I suppose. the 10,000 psi stuff is the best. I can drop blocks onto the concrete floor without even chipping.

you don´t get a slight lego sorting feeling when working with these??? i bet i could sort these all day and when finally finsihed i would realize i am hungry and thirsty... but inbetween i probably wouln´t hear an earthquake....

i corss my fingers for soon to see what wonders you will be starting with these...

Good to see we're on the same page with regards to anime panties.
