Hi Thanks for even checking my Thread =) I just Started playing WH40K... total of 1 week -_-' =).. yeah you heard right 1 week =)

i decided to join a tournament this late August =). I guess.. im in for a baptism with fire haha =). Learn faster with by playing then just read the Codex and Rulz book =)

Ok back to the topic... im trying to make a Tank army or so call mechanize Army =). The Tournament is 1500 Point and here my list =)


HQ - Captain = 175 Point
Terminator Armor
Storm Shield
Thunder Hammer

Elites - Terminator Assault Squad = 225 Point
Thunder Hammer
Storm Shield
* Land Raider Redeemer = 240 Point
Total = 465 Point

1st Troop - Assault Squad = 100 Point
*Land Raider = 250 - 35 = 215
Total = 315 point

2nd Troop - Assault Squad = 100 Point
*Land Raider = 250 - 35 = 215
Total = 315 point

Fast Atk - Baal Predator = 115 Points
Flame Strom Cannon
Total = 115 Point

Fast Atk - Baal Predator = 115 Points

Total = 115 Point

My Captain will be inside the Land Raider Redeemer with the Assault Terminators =)

Grand Total = 1500 Points =)

With this model i have... can i improve it more?... I Just need a Competitive Army List =). Im willing to spent a bit more cash just to improve it. ( My Budget is around 100 usd )

With you guys help... i Hope even a noob like me can give a hell of a fight! =)

I will be brutal and honest:
- this is a nice list. But not a p&m blog.
- this post does not belong here but in army lists.
- I have no idea about blood angels
- in my humble experience 100 usd will probably not enough to beef it up to max competitiveness

Captains are generally a waste of points. Maybe look into using a Librarian.

Neo, I think once people have replied to your original post, you're kind of stuck with it. You can ask one of the mods to move it to the right section, I'm sure they'd oblige.

I don't know much about Blood Angles, but I think it's pretty well established that you're better off spending HQ points on a commander that has some kind of "force multiplier" effect, rather than a generic one. i.e. one that has some special ability that makes your whole army better, or at least a specific type of unit better or more versatile (Vulcan, Pedro or an MoTF from the vanilla marine codex for example). Librarian's have their own special charm of course and can be quite useful... I love the idea of chaplains but they just don't pay off in a vanilla SM list. You might fair better with BA...

Good luck, when you get to painting your army (which I hope you do), this will be the place to show it off and get some helpful advice.

One of the mods will move it over soon enough, I am not knowledgeable on 40k lists so I can't help too much, but the boys over in army lists surely will.
