hey guys,

I just wanted some feedback, Is there any other primer that works wonders beside the citadel products? Those primers are a touch on the pricey side and I figure I would ask if a basic Auto primer would work? just wondering, let me know what you folks think.

thanks for your time

There's a lot of people that do just that. Make sure to test any primer you buy before using it on models though. That way, if it's too thick (or whatever) you won't ruin anything with it.

I use Armory Spray Primer its about $5 to $6 a can and it works great.

Use white for bright colors, Grey for natrual colors and Black for dark colors.

I've also heard of people useing products from Krylon or Rustoleam that seems to work well.

I use duplicolor sandable primer. Works pretty well, but I sometimes have trouble getting the paint to stick to it. Meh.
