Hello.

Over the course of the Summer I have been and will be working on my army pretty seriously. I've managed to repair most of the models (some still need work) and I'm just about ready to start painting. I also ordered five more boxes of stuff which will be arriving next week. Anyway, I have a fancy camera, and internet access, so you guys can take a look at what I've been working on.



These are some of my most recent Orks. The Nob there is featuring a Waaagh! Banner and Power Klaw, the second is just a PK/BP Nob for my Boyz (I think he looks particularly awesome), and the fella on the right there has a kustom Rokkit Launcha. I don't know what the bit is originally from, but I think it looks excellent.



This is my Kustom Force Field Mek with a Burna. He'll be stationed inside a Battlewagon (which is being shipped) along with 15 more Burna Boyz.



I scratch-built this Killa Kan from bits I bought at one of Mikhaila's auctions.



This is my Buzzsaw Kopta, made using a Killa Kan CCW. I filed the hell out of it so it would fit between the Rokkits.



And these are my Kommandos.

Them are some really nice orks! All they need now is some paint.

Just painted up the banner on my Waaagh! banner nob. I think it came out pretty well. Note - I touched up the eye a little bit.



A Killa Kan with a looted "Kustom Mega Blasta" that I found in my rather considerable pile of bits.

Pretty much painting all night, nothing better to do, and I'm almost done with season 2 of X-Files.

By the way, do you have experience painting Ork skin or is it something new to you! I'm sure the Painting and Modelling Tutorials has quiet a few threads on the topic to look at for inspiration!

Really nice! I would add some teeth to the ork on the banner. Who's gunna listen to a toothless ork? Anyways, this project seems very interesting.

Took a break for a day or two, then did this.



Got a few more pictures to take, put together some more models, working on some paint jobs, will get them up tonight or tomorrow.

Only took me five months to get back to work.

Moving from California to New York, and going to college can really slow a guy down. I also started building Thousand Sons, which has taken up some of my time.

I got a LOT of new work done today, since most of the work I've been doing has been repairing models that didn't make the 3,000 mile trip. I haven't edited all the photos, but here's a few.



This is my first painted Kommando. I've been scratch-building Kommandos from Boyz Bitz, seeing as according to the Codex, they're Boyz stats and their gear is Slugga, Choppa, and Stikkbommz. I've found a friend willing to help with my paint jobs, and she's done some amazing work on this one.



I'm proud to say that I finally finished building my fully diversified Nobz mob, all 10, all with different wargear, properly modeled. My buddy Sal plays Tyranids, so I traded for one particular bit (see if you can spot it) to sort of taunt him for my recent victories.



I really like converting Deffkoptas into Warbikes since they're so cheap and everywhere thanks to AoBR and real Warbikes are expensive. This one took me the better part of the day and a trip to the dollar store, but I'm really proud of how it came out. It's also posed dynamically.

A Nob with a Big Choppa and Kombi-Rokkit. The wire holding his arm on broke through, looks like I need to patch that up.



I'm not really sure what happened with this guy. I hate that Power Klaw bit with the... spear.. on it, and it just made me think of a deep sea diver. I found the head that looked to me like a snorkel and swimming goggles, and then gave him an oxygen tank. I'm thinking of calling him l like, "The Great Green Shork" or something.
