Meanwhile, seriously people, was all that necessary? Yes, it would be great if people didn't post duplicate news stories... but sometimes people miss the previous posts in their enthusiasm to share a bit of news. It's not that big a deal... just hit the mod alert, and move on. Discouraging people from coming back through being rude about it doesn't help anyone.
