This thread has been started to contain any and all bits of your good news. It can be absolutely anything that made your day/week/existence, or your comments on others good fortune.
I'll get the ball rolling:
Today, I finished all my A-level exams, and I'm pretty pleased with how they went. I've now got roughly a three month holiday for rest, relaxation, and painting!

 After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.

Starting next Tuesday, every day will have less sun. In 90 days it will be cooler then than now. This gives me hope.

Bloody hell its been hot in the south, hasn't it Fraz. I was in Atlanta this last weekend moving heavy crap from my wife's storage unit into a rental truck. My thermometer said 95 F ( about 36 C for you Europeans ) and the humidity was essentially 100%. I was actually happy it started to storm and we had to move some of the crap back in the storage unit because at least the humidity went down afterward.
Mad Doc: What is a Managers Course. Is that the same thing as being on the company's dime?

June 22: we're on the downard sun slope
July 1: start of frazzled hurricane season
July 25-August 7: hell on earth hottest part of summer. Lead melts. the city becomes a town of vampires-DON'T GO OUT DURING THE DAY!!!
August 8: its all downhill baby!!! temp starts to slide about August 15
Sept 10: Last day of Frazzled hurricane season. Celebrate by drinking...hurricanes!

yea... must suck to be you guys. The average temperature here in rochester has been a lovely 65 degrees or so for the past month.

The sun is shining, my ball bag of a house mate is moving out and taking his stupid bint of a wife with him, I just recieved a box of goodies traded with Bash the Bosh in the swap shop, and tonight I'm going to give mrs squilverine a damned good seeing to.
