BoLScon is back, and bigger. We have over 200 confirmed guests so far, but there is still room for more. The weekend has 40K and WFB (7th Ed) IGTs, with 4 games on Satuday and 3 on Sunday. 40K is 2000 points, and WFB is 2250 points.

We've also added some Friday gaming, with pairs 40K and WFB, 35point Warmachine, and 1750 Late War Flames of War.

No one else is going? Wow, speak up folks, I want to see which of my buddies from Dakka will be there and if we will get to meet any new friends.

Austin is a bad ass city too, tons of hot girls, great weather, fun nightlife, great music, beautiful city and it looks to be a great tournament.

What's up with neat tournaments in lousy locations? The NOVA Open looks neat...but it's in a malarial swamp in August. BoLSCon would be awesome...if it weren't in Texas during Fire Ant season.*

Austin's actually not so bad in July. In August and September it's pure hell. But during the day you'll be gaming and 6th St. at night is a nice temperature and fun place. I won't be able to make it but good luck to those going.

@Janthkin, yeah, Austin is more temperate, isn't it? I went through in 08 around April, and it was great.

Yeah, I wanted to go to the NOVA open as well, but two in one month is too much for the budget right now, and I had already committed to BoLScon so I will have to miss it this year.

Game during the day, party at night. Austin is a primo college age party town. Its what they do. ITS ALL THEY DO!

Dude don't kid them. Its in the high 90's or low hundreds then. Thats literally sliding into the hottest part of the year.

90s or 100s arent that bad, Ill have no issue camping with the heat index in the 110s. BUTTTT bolscon is halfway across the country for me :(

When is the Warmachine/Hordes event and is it just the stock SR2010 rules or are you adding any other modifiers to it?

Well, unfortunately I will not be attending after all.
