That appears to be a color changing paint?

If so what brand? If not you have some real funky lighting hit those models.

@Captain Jack - That is very unique. I have seen a lot of people shoot for this effect and fail, but I think you pulled it off.

I would guess hot glue over empty plastic bottles.

I'll throw my stuff up. I've done three of these bad boys, one for a friend at the local hobby shop, one went on Ebay, and one went to a good guy in Britain
The first one was actually put on Games Workshop's main site about a month and a half ago too






If I ever start up Tyranids, my plan is to have four of these suckers in my army!

Anyway, here's my carnifex. It's still a WIP, I've gotta wash it and what-not.


It's hive fleet kraken. I painted on a carapace because I got the model from some idiot who put the scything talons on BEFORE he put together the body.....idiot.

though the second picture the prismatic coat doesn't show up very well so they look kind of bad, what camera are you using jack?

Crispy all round! I like that Harpy! Nice collections, what a fantastic set of models the Tyranids really are. I don't care for the army play styles but who couldn't love the beautiful models they have now, incredible!

I wish their codex was better and especially that they made more of the units in it as kits.

Good job with bridging the model gaps you guys! Fun to see your work in the thread!

this is how my tyranids look, this pic is not the best. im working on a carnifex atm will post it ones i have it done.

but here is one of em, want to keep em to the kraken but gave em a new color scheme but the red is still there.
