Neal has thrown together a package bundle for 8th edition Fantasy.
8th Edition Rulebook (Standard)
New Templates
New Counters
New Magic Deck
All that for $81.99 (plus shipping of course).
I'm definately scooping that up.

I just got email yesterday.
Yeah, essentially all the counters, templates and magic cards for $22.
Though I'm still undecided on an army. LOL.
Nurgle Daemons might be fun though with not getting both ward AND regen they don't appear as tough anymore.
Skaven seem cool. Khorne Daemons could be fun.
Warriors of Chaos as the models look sweet as hell.
O&G would be fun too.
Ugh, guess I'll need to read up on the armies more.

I've already committed to buying the rulebook at my FLGS, but this would have been really tempting otherwise (OK, it still is, but I'm going to resist ).
I'm not too interested in the templates/counters, but I do love those magic cards!

I was sorely disappointed to find that the "Fantasy Package" involved table top gaming, and not three swedish girls...
Anyway, it's a nice collection, but I think I'm going to wait for the isles o'blood.

I get $95.61 all total from Maelstrom (plus the apparent weeks long delays they are subjecting customers too now) so if that's the price AFTER the discount, Neal is $14 cheaper for US customers and I'll have the order 3-4 days after I place it.
$95.61 > $81.99. I have to assume $95.61 is after the Maelstrom discount? If that's the case Maelstrom isn't even CLOSE to being cheaper.

As I said shipping changes everything.
Just runned a simulation in case shipping had changed and I was not aware off.
So I putted 2 rpg hardcover books to a value of bellow 50usd and got the
International by USPS Express ($25.00)
International Wholesale ($25.00)
International First Class, Small Orders Only! ($10.95)
International in Bubble Pack ($3.99)
So it would be 25 extra usd on the final prices... and dont forget that above that you have a 50% change of customs tax you with a extra huge bill!
No thank you sir.

Warstore = $81.99 + $25 shipping (min) = AUD$123
Maelstrom = £57.02 + £0 shipping = AUD$98
So, cheaper. Where I live that is. For others it might be different, as it always is. It's never just cheaper from one place always (with few exceptions).
See Fate, whenever you come a'rolling (+t?) into a Maelstrom thread squawking about how much cheaper it is from The WarStore, you forget that there are other countries in the world, and the price in once place ain't always the price in another place.
And that's not a dig at Neal - I ordered from the WarStore as recently as this April, and will do so again soon to pick up some Pegasus buildings and some more tiles for Dark Heresy - it's more a bit of a ' knock knock - wake up call' to you Fate over your very centric view that if it's cheaper for you, it must be cheaper for everyone from the same place.
Which is just silly...

No I fething don't. Time after time I've explained about Australian prices and how it is absurd for anyone to buy anything retail here, and that you should always buy from the place that is cheapest, and how that always invariably ends up being Maelstrom (although occasionally Wayland, depending on the item and volume).

Except H just said "Maelstrom is cheaper". As in, no matter where you live Maelstrom is cheaper. He didn't indicate for whom so it can be taken by someone who doesn't know what H is referring to that Maelstrom is cheaper no matter where you live, which isn't true.
I figured you meant for Aussies H but obtuseness doesn't help you get your point across. Just saying something in the broad sense (Maelstrom is cheaper) does not help prove any kind of point.
