The ruling has been clarified in the 4.0 INAT Faq, he can indeed outflank, as the ability says "his unit" it doesn't give the model the ability it simply allows the IC to tag along.

Adding Gazzy to the Kommandos makes you roll a Slow/Purposfull roll for the Kommandos. Just something to think about.

He will not be staying with the squad, when he comes in it's waagh time and he brakes off from the squad. 2 rounds of 2 up save will keep him alive. Snikrot is just sort've used as a nice little transport for Ghazzy.

Pretty sure he can't 'break off from the squad like that btw, they must move on together as a unit and then it's your shooting phase and he's not allowed to breack cohearence.

They have to come on together, but he can still break off just like any IC can from a squad. I just need to roll a decent slow and purposeful to allow him to get away from the squad.

The IC can not leave the squad until he has been on the board a full turn (arrives on turn 2, can't leave the squad until turn 3). This is found in GWs online FAQ of the rulebook.
And yes to Zachwho you can attach a Warboss to Snikrot.
