The latest wargames illustrated has a preview of Blitzkrieg, the first early war book for flames of war. It says it (finally) goes on sale Aug 28th and will have four polish lists (tank, motorised, infantry, cavalry), ten german lists, four british lists and seven french lists.

Is there any sign of new minis yet?

I assume that this is a source book ala Afrika or Fortress Europe and not a redo of the main rules?

No Dutch or Belgian forces?

I've seen some of the new EW minis and they look fantastic, the early tanks are right on par with best armour I've seen from battlefront. I was nervous that they would lack the impact of the heavy late war beasts but since they square off against others of similar size, they look very nice on the table.

Yes this is going to be an Afrika style sourcebook.

No Dutch and Belgian in this release as it is just the very start of the EW releases for now. Dutch and Belgian would not be along until a source book is issued for that part of the war I think. I have no direct intelligence as to when that might be or if it will happen, but they have mentioned frequently the minor forces getting more support in the coming years.

I too am a little surprised that the Dutch and Belgians did not get a list either but I am sure that you will see a PDF from the BF guys at some point on them.

any news on that star wars rumor from april 1st?

Star wars is still just rumours, but it is thought to be announced in August when the wizards of the coast license expires. Violation of their license if it is announced before then. The rumour is that it will be 15mm but there is not really any extra info floating around.
