Scratch-built conversion of the Doom of Malan'tai. I used the face of an old 2ed Ripper, the tips of twelve 2ed Termagant tails (try saying that fast) and a resin scenic base cast from a master model I made. The rest of it, from tail to shoulders, is sculpted from Green Stuff on a Milliput starting form.
Ultimate plan is to make a complementary Plasma Hatcher Mycetic Spore that looks like it's a cocoon that's emerged from underground; my Hive Fleet is a Dinosaur themed one, and I decided to base Doomie here on the various bug-like creatures in 2D Metroid games to make him fit into the prehistoric visual style.
Looks incredibly good but I think it is too wormy and not niddy enough I would just add really small T-rex arm sized scytals just to go with the other nids better.
Good work overall, but I'm with mewiththeface; it's just too wormy and not nid enough. Personally, I would like to see a bigger and more fleshed-out head.
I will say, though, that the carapace is spot on. Keep it up!
